A 50's style diner filled with nostalgia. Pictures of classic muscle cars and celebrities, signage from back in the day, and vinyl 45's hang on the wall behind the counter. This classic style diner where the food is consistant, the regulars know almost everyone that walks in the door, and the waitresses know you by name and what you like... More

You will not find better breakfast anywhere. Plus it's authentic downtown Waterbury "the greatest city in the world" and your dining in the shadow of our world renowned clock tower. Have a Bacon Egg and Cheese and a side of home fries and a cup or two of real coffee and your day will be great.

My parents swear by this place. They go pretty much every day. And there is something to be said for the service to inspire that kind of loyalty. Most of the staff are quite friendly, and there's obviously a large group of regulars that will make you feel at home. As long as you don't take their spot. I, my... More

Went for a birthday breakfast. The food was plentiful. The staff was friendly. Brings back memories of an old fashioned diner. Worth the time. Close to Rt. 8. Would definately go back.

My friend has been here over the years and brought me here today. This was my first time at the Tower Grill. For lunch I had the Junction Surprise sandwich -- turkey breast, roasted red peppers, grilled onions, swiss cheese and russian dressing on grilled rye bread ($7.95). It was tasty and delicious, and included french fries (I substituted home... More

Located off Freight street in a gritty part of town, the Tower Grill remains a throwback diner with basic good food done well. One of the few places I've found that does a good biscuits and gravy. Best for breakfast in my opinion as I've only eaten breakfast there. Small and you may have a wait on the weekends but... More

Classic old style diner, been around for decades - neat & clean and never empty. A local favorite for typical diner food - we love their breakfast options. Cash only - free standing ATM on site. Been going there for years, same friendly staff who serve you well.
