Whether you stop in for a meal, ice cream, or one of their incredible homemade desserts you will be pleased with your food. On... More

We had an early dinner here to tonight. Unfortunately the cafe had run out of the prawn dish my husband wanted but he was happy enought with the fish and chips he ordered. The squash and apple soup was delicious and the crab cakes were also good. A little more time between courses would be desirable as the crab cakes... More

This place was once our favorite place. Came here many many times. Food was good. Staff was not overly friendly but ok. Recent couple of experiences were very bad. Our food was half cooked. The owner/chef was rude to customers. Sad to see this place going downhill... Not going to come here anymore. The area is beautiful though. Hope someone... More

Stopped for a light meal by the covered bridge. Delightfully surprised! A fun casual lunch stop. Home baked goods scrumptious!

Two of us really enjoyed the Crab Cakes which were very tasty and did not have filler ( as mentioned in other reviews ). Another one enjoyed the rack of ribs, cooked... More

Great place for food, wonderful village, views of historic covered bridge and the fabulous Housatonic River. Outdoors on the patio or inside, you'll enjoy it.

My friend and I came to view the covered bridge (right next to café) and stopped for lunch. My crab cakes were delicious and if you get a dessert you can order one and split it as the portion size was generous. I had the rhubarb-strawberry crisp and it was delicious (I'm ashamed to admit I ate the whole thing!).... More
