Tarry Lodge had been around for years but I had never been there for dinner. There was a nice selection of Italian dishes but for me there was too much emphasis on pork products and shellfish, neither of which I eat. I had the Branzino with fennel and other vegetables,, which was fine, and a side order of spaghetti in... More

Excellent simple meal at Tarry Lodge for Mothers Day. I had the interesting salumi salad to share followed by tagliatelle with spicy sausage and a pasta with mushrooms dish for the misses. Had a nice Bellini and white wine and some gelato and Tiramisu. Simple, good service nice espresso. Not cheap but fine enough.

I have been here a few times and keep thinking I will try the pasta, which looks amazing as it is brought to other tables. Ditto for the entrees. Their salads are really good and a nice opener for the pizza. Fresh bread and olive oil in the table are also a nice touch. But the reason I keep going... More

I might have set my expectations too high. I thought the ambiance was decent, not spectacular, the food was good, not great, the service was very good. It has been a while and none of the people I go out with have talked about going/returning here. I haven't thought too much about the place and I've eaten probably 50 times... More

Here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered bucatini with ramps and pancetta. I was a little surprised as it was a couple of weeks early for ramps so I asked the waitress about them and she assured me they had them and they were in season. I love ramps, so that was great. My dish arrived, and there... More

My husband & I loved everything about our Sunday lunch. He had the salumi salad & a margherita pizza & I had the frisee salad & cavatelli, sausage & rapini--all made with high quality, fresh ingredients & large portions to boot! Great wine selection by the glass & our bartender(Steve) was happy to let us taste several different wines before... More

Dined at Tarry Lodge for a birthday dinner with a small group. Reservation was made with a couple of days notice and in turn we had to go with 9:30, but in fairness it was a Saturday night. Very large restaurant and it was packed when we arrived at 9:00 hoping for a little earlier seating. When we left close... More

We're big fans of the Nancy's Chopped Salad (with meats and cheese), Guanciale Pizza (with sunnyside up egg and truffles), and the great wine selection. Shishito Peppers and mushrooms always round out the meal nicely for us too.

I was craving some pasta to take back to my desk at work. Almost $20 for a container of carbonara with no bread or little salad. It had huge chunks of garlic that I had to pick out. This was my second try because it is holding fast in town which is a great sign. Just not for me.
