The Hearth has been around a long time and with a update to the interior and the menu it's still going strong. We stopped in for breakfast this morning and heard one of the dinner specials was galumpkis so we came back. Serving home made soups and deserts in addition to fresh seafood specials makes it worth stopping in. All... More

Wonderful meal in a friendly family atmosphere. We exited Route #1 due to the traffic and found this restaurant. The broiled scallops were excellent and my Delmonico steak was comparable to a steak costing $30+ a fancy restaurant. Our kids ordered the crab cake sandwiches and loved them. Plenty of lump crab meat and and very little filler. Also the... More

My family and I went to The Hearth Restaurant and had a great meal. The broiled scallops and flounder were excellent the waitress said the seafood comes in every Thursday from Baltimore and it is fresh. I would say our meals were as good or better then the seafood we paid much more at a top seafood restaurant on Ocean... More

We stumbled upon this wonderful place one evening as we traveled south... We have returned twice and will continue to do so! under the SAME ownership since 1963, this great little spot features a wonderful menu of delicious and generous items...a quiet and clean setting and a good sized parking area. Top all of this with excellent and friendly service... More

There is a reason this place has been in business since the early 60's. The food is fresh, the staff is friendly and they haven't tried to change what they have mastered! Nothing fancy or "fake" about this local mainstay! The breakfast meals are traditional and taste great. The lunch & dinner menu offer a fair amount of meals to... More

My wife and I wanted to try this place a few weeks ago. It was about 8:00 on a Friday night, and there were people in there eating. One of the staff sees us walking to the front door, and she actually locks us out. We thought that was strange. there was no communication, no hey sorry we are closing,... More

We were a party of 4 adults and 4 children. They had to put 3 tables togeather to seat us. We were in a weird configuration so that no one of us could see everyone else. The service was good and the food was acceptable. I think it is an old Howard Johnsons from the 50's or 60's. It's a... More

Dated family restaurant kind of place. I've eaten dinner here, which was ok, but mostly just go for breakfast. Decent menu selection, good service.
