We stumbled onto this place after refusing to wait at Two other restaurants down the road. We were a tad nervous when we walked In with the " grandma feel" old decor fish theme mixed with a granny decorating thrown in. But......Conch fritters we delicious and we got the flounder with her was also yummy. Keylime pie to go wasn't... More

Rodes has been a mainstay of mid market dining in the Bonita Springs area for more than 20 years. Apparently it was sold a couple of years ago and the slide downhill has been precipitous. The food isn't bad but the service is pretty awful. We were greeted by a sullen young lady was indicated by her mannerisms that she... More

We just went to the shop portion of Rodes. This place definitely has the feel of an old-time shop. It's a little messy, a little run-down, a little expensive for what they offer. The pie is very good, though.

We were very pleased at both the quantity and quality of our food. I had the fried oysters appetizer which included at least 15 robust oysters. They were only lightly fried and very flavorful and my wife's prime rib was also cooked just right. This was the first time that we had eaten there and will do so again. With... More

We have been going to Rodes for 20 years..From the cute shack and market down the road to their newer location some 15 years ago, they sadly seemed to suffer quality and service in the past few years. We took two friends for the their 1st time (and their last) for dinner - bar was jammed, restaurant moderately busy at... More

I don't know if Naples has terrible places to eat or if this is the norm because they target eaters 70+. I don't mean any disrespect but this no seafood people. You should cook with pride and joy of the food works be terrible, and it was terrible. I ordered a $30 platter and was almost gross. The fish was... More

I went to this restaurant based on the recommendation of a business associate and would not go back. We went during the afternoon and there were only four or five other couples in the place. The lack of customers should have been the first sign to walk out. The menu was small and had limited options for us to choose... More

This was our second recent visit. The first time was just after they advertised a new chef arrived. It was obvious they were dealing with the change. We were not given bread although tables around us were. The waiter forgot to put in our order and we waited and waited. I wanted shrimp, but the it wasn't on the menu.... More
