This is a wonderful restaurant. Food excellent and the Maitre D so helpful, explaining the menu in English and being prepared to adapt the dishes to our wishes. It had a lovely, family atmosphere.

I have been already few times. I came to know this place by a total coincidence...we were starving and looking for a place to eat just before coming back to Luxembourg. When I go to Strasbourg or I have visits from overseas I ALWAYS bring them here because as I said in the title of this review, it is the... More

Dear Iamasu, We thank you for having devoted time to us and are happy to know that you spent a delicious time by our side. We had to serve you outside, the summer was magnificent in Alsace. Why not to return in winter and make you rock by the crackling of our oven with wood fire? We hope we can... More

I was introduced to this restaurant by a friend who has been going here for years. I was amazed at the quality and creativity of the food. The chef has managed to keep the best of traditional food and add his own signature style so that's it's fresh and unique. I am a frequent patron of high end restaurants in... More

Stopped at the Auberge for Sunday lunch after a weekend of gluttony in Strasbourg. We received a very warm welcome, gentle toleration of our atrocious Francais, and a meal to remember. The place was full of locals, mainly families, who clearly appreciate what a superb place this is. The food is bountiful and creative, but down-to-earth as one would expect... More

This restaurant is in a small village North of Strasbourg, a favorite of locals, and recommended by our B&B hostess, who also made us a reservation. The food was excellent, prices reasonable, the garden setting very nice, and the waitress, alerted to our coming, was very helpful interpreting the menu. If you’re staying in or near Weyersheim or Hoerdt, this... More

We dined here twice during our weekend staying at L'accroche Coeur in Bietlenheim, just a couple of minutes away. The food, service and atmosphere in the restaurant was fantastic. Very authentic, tasty dishes, offering the best of produce found in Alsace. The white asparagus were to die for, as was their foie gras. We were made to feel very welcome... More

This is one of the best eating experiences I have had for a long time. It was the best meal during our 11 day visit to Alsace. We loved the very casual and informal environment, sitting on the terrace on a lovely warm evening and experiencing the great service and food. It is really busy so a reservation is essential.... Dear robin, It is with a lot of pleasure that we took part of your comments, especially as they emanate from an experienced author ! Your impressions reflect well the soul which we want breathed into our "Auberge" : looseness and professionalism, fresh products of the country, concentrated by Alsace in the decoration and in the plates. A lovely location by the river with a varied menu containing lots of local dishes. Well cooked food beautifully presented. The staff never stopped all night.Very popular; we arrived at 7.00p.m. on a Monday evening and the restaurant was full 30 minutes later. Booking is essential.
