A great place to detox after a long day. Good drinks, and bar food. Excellent service. Comfortable table and chairs, with umbrella (should you desire). Overlooks the gulf with a wide view of the beach.

Nothing like sitting outside overlooking the gulf! We were happy to sit and order margaritas and daquiri's~ chips, guac and salsa... It was all delish, but $14 for the drinks was a bit steep.

We had a really good meal here. I had Mahi Mahi tacos, which were very good. The food was quick and well prepared. The staff was pleasant and friendly. It is by the pool but on the 8th floor, so you can look out at the beach. It was a nice place for lunch.

All 3 of us ordered the grouper sandwiches that were very good and the spicy aioli delicious. We shared a hot wing appetizers. We also had 5 drinks and our bill was $190 The one waitress was very overwhelmed and we had a long wait but we were not in a hurry so it was ok. We would not eat... More

It's amazing to have the pool on the 8th floor to lay in the sun or people watch the beach. Doesn't matter you will enjoy your time here. Just wish the pool had a couple more hours of sun. Don't forget the daily specials.

My husband and I went for a long weekend and stayed at the Hyatt. It was awesome, we stayed by the pool, there was plenty of chairs both in the shade and sun all depending on your preference. When you were hungry/thirsty there was the "Swim Bar and Grill". Very convenient and ice cold drinks were the best.

Decent lunch spot at the Hyatt pool. Buffalo chicken sandwich was pretty good, though don't ask for the bleu cheese dressing for it - nasty bottled goop. Fries salty and barely warm. Guacamole is very good and comes with decent blue and yellow tortilla chips. Make sure you lift the bowl - that's where they hide a pile of jalapeños!... More

The view is awsome, but limited to Clearwater beach sunset view only. It's family friendly and more wholesome for children ( vs Jimmy's Crow's Next). There is a pool where it gets alluring at night with its lights on. The bar closes at 9:00, but the pool is open longer and kids can stay there longer.

After trying most of the better known dining options in Clearwater Beach, we ventured up to the 8th floor of the Hyatt to try the Swim Bar and Grill. It's a casual outdoor cafe offering a spectacular view overlooking the full length of the beach, and it was probably the best meal we had in our recent visit (April 2012). The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The menu is not extensive by any means, but everything we ordered was a pleasant surprise for a such a casual spot. Certainly the freshest and best prepared grouper we had during our 10-day visit to the area. Try the grouper salad!
