Slow service, food was over priced and not that good. I do not recommend. Many better places in Coral Gables.

My friends and I like to indulge in afternoon tea and when I found that the Biltmore offered afternoon tea while in Miami Beach -- we had to check it out. The lobby was beautiful enough and the bird cages featuring exotic birds was fascinating. The drive up to the hotel is remarkable and the lobby is great. The afternoon... More

This restaurant is really beautiful but don't hope to sit at the prettiest seat in the restaurant because it is reserved for the general manager/owner of the hotel even if he is not in the restaurant for the day. Imagine the arrogance of the man who is in the business of hospitality but saves the best for himself and would... More

Went out for a spontaneous night at the Biltmore Hotel and dined at Fontana. I always feel like I am away on vacation when I come here. I love the atmosphere with the fountain in the middle, surrounded by the beautiful hotel. Aside from that, the food and the service are great! Had the fettucini with vegetables, garlic and pesto... What a great experience for tea time at this wonderful place. I came here with 6 friends after getting a voucher off of travelzoo as I have heard so many wonderful things. The tea selection is wonderful with variety for all, we also had a glass of sparkling wine. The tea sandwiches were of different varieties and my vegetarian friend... More

This is our third time at the Fontana and we continue to be pleased with the atmosphere, the food, and certainly the service. We chose the pre-theater dinner as we were going to Gable Stage later in the evening. The choices were pleasing with enough variety too accommodate both our tastes and the price was very good. The service was... More

Ate at 8pm with my 11 year old daughter. The setting is delightful, if the weather is good sit outside on the fairy lit and candlelit terrace by the fountain. Our service was good - almost too quick. From ordering starters to them being on the table was around 5 minutes (I am always slightly worried by that kind of... More

One of the few remaining Miami locales offering traditional English afternoon tea, the Biltmore is arguably the most elegant venue, with its soaring vaulted ceiling, magnificent lobby and majestically mantled fireplace. The refreshing repast is served daily and is complemented with and elegant harp weekdays and music of an accomplished classical guitarist on the weekends. During the holiday season guests can expect themed pastries.Reservations are recommended.
