We had a wonderful meal here. Blackened fish and sides featuring southern favorites like fried okra. Indoor/outdoor seating available with lovely view of Crystal River. We saw tarpon swimming by the entire time.

This restaurant is actually a Mexican restaurant now. It had a nice atmosphere and looked clean. Service was quick and friendly and super patient and helpful in getting my twin nephews fed fast and occupied with dinner and dessert. Food was good overall and the salsa was fresh. However, the rice was overcooked and the beans were a bit dry,... More

This was once a popular restaurant with a decent varied menu. Why they decided to go "Mexican" I will never understand. It would take a vivid imagination to compare their food to Mexican. I agree with the reviewer who said Taco Bell is a better choice.

Chips and salsa tasted good. Dinner not great. Beans tasted like out of can. Burrito supremo didn't have much chicken in it. Tasteless burrito. Not one good Mexican restaurant in crystal river. Taco Bell would be a step up. Service was just ok.

This is a wonderful mexican restaurant with good food, great margaritas and an awesome waitress -- Sonya! The prices are average but the amount of food is enormous! And the margaritas are fantastic!

Taco Bell is more authentic Mexican than this place.Everything tasted like it just came out of a can.A very unsatisfying dining experience to say the least.I Would definitely not recommend.

This restaurant was uniformly bad. The margarita was tiny and tasted like tap water. The food was underseasoned, barely warm and tasteless. The refried beans actually smelled like baked beans. The waiter was friendly but the service was extremely slow. We couldn't tell the difference between the chicken and the pork. We ordered a wide variety of dishes to give... More

I ate here this weekend with a friend. The name just recently changed. It is now the Riviera and has Mexican food. We both had Chimichangas. I had the Chicken with the Cilantro Lime Rice and Refried Beans. My friend had the Beef with the Cilantro Lime Rice and the Black Beans. We both loved our meals!! The rice was... More

Seriously the worst, tasteless, driest Mexican food I've ever had. I'd honestly save your time and money and go across the street for a place just a bit more tastier. Salsa had no spice, mostly tasted like spaghetti sauce... And my "burrito" was dry as heck stuffed full of dry unseasoned chicken. I literally went through so much water to... More

Description
This is a staple restaurant for Citrus County. Our new location is now located back on Hwy 19 Located right across from Citrus Kia. Lou is still around checking the quality of all the food that leaves his kitchen. The Boathouse has been around since the 80's and will continue for years to come. We are much larger then are last location and have the ability for banquets and special occasions. The restaurant is decorated beautifully with murals of underwater sea life and nautical boats and anchors galore. We pride on keeping our restaurant clean knowing how important food management is. Our servers are very friendly and always meet our customers with a smile. Please come and try our new location for youself. We dedicate ourselves to making sure all of our patrons leave full and feeling that they recieved a good meal for a fair price!
