We went there for a pre wedding get together with family and friends. The food was good to average, modestly priced, but the service was pretty slow. The ambience made up for the slow service.

I didn't actually eat at Malcolm's, since I was there for an event, but the catered food from the same kitchen was wonderful. Also good, reasonably priced drinks in the bar.
Great customer service and happy hour specials. Also, it's open to the public. Live music on Saturday nights.
