Was told to try it out, glad we did. Was visiting Orlando area and it was about a half hour away. Beautiful park, swimming, boat tour. it was fun to cook your own pancakes and had eggs and bacon. Will tell more friends about it

My wife, mother and I stopped at the Old Spanish Sugar Mill Restaurant in De Leon Springs State Park this month. It is such a fun and unique dinning experience I have to recommend it to anyone passing through the area. Here is how it works. When you are seated they bring you different pancake batters and you make your... More

the only thing to have there that is worth eating are the pancakes...but, don't expect fluffy delicious pancakes...they bring you a pitcher with batter (who knows how old it is) and you make your own flat mushy pancakes at the table. You can buy extra stuff to put on them---and don't order sausage or bacon...you won't get it until the... More

Go for the scenery and enjoy the restaurant while you're there! You can grill your own pancakes or fry your own eggs right at your table at this very homey restaurant! We also ordered salads, and they were awesome too! The servers are all helpful and attentive, and it's a fun way to have an easy going meal with your... More

This was our third visit and won't be our last. The Old Spanish Sugar Mill continues to make the day brighter with their friendly service, full menu choices, and pour it/flip it yourself pancakes. This time we didn't skip the bacon...YUM! Everyone is satisfied and smiling when we leave this unique restaurant. We added a walk on the park paths... More
