The food was very good, the wraps were so big I had to take 1/2 home, the staff was very friendly and helpful in explaining the dishes. It is hidden in a long line of shops that why I named it hidden treasure, worth a visit.

Hibiscus tacos...wonderful!! Menu items are fresh, options are not your typical Mexican fare. Local craft beer and hibiscus tea we're our beverage choices, they were great.

Without referring to any guides or reviews we stopped for dinner because the menu was all tapas. We started with the guacamole and chile con queso. Both were excellent although we asked for some pepper sauce to spice them up a bit. When our fishladas, hibiscus tacos, enchilada combo and empanadas were served we were were overwhelmed by the artistic... More

We were in the Deland area to visit Blue Springs, but De La Vega was the highlight of our trip. The food was wonderful and the service was fast and very friendly on a busy Saturday at noon. Highly recommend and worth the hour's drive for us!

It a a different type of Mexican restaurant, everything that we have tried was delicious and unique. The salad with nopales is great, the aspirinas, and other dishes. In addition the service is cordial, and helpful. Great place to eat with the family. When we receive people from out of the states is one restaurant we love to go for... More

Two of my friends were vegetarian and another one need gluten-free food and I wanted something light but good. We all were pretty satisfied and the staff is... More

Three of us ate here on a quiet (but not dead) weekday night. Sharing from the tapas menu was the obvious choice and we split nopalitas (cactus with pineapple and peppers), chicken mole rice balls, vegetarian black bean soup with the beans cooked to an exquisite tenderness without being mushy, and the highly anticipated hibiscus tacos, which have an amazing... Such a lovely treat in the heart of historic Deland, the service is better than anything within 100 miles. We suggest the hibiscus tacos and Asprinias
