Staff - Friendly, informative and talked to you like they were happy you visited
Environment - Clean, inviting and comfortable
Food
- I had chipotle omelet I give it a 4 star, but toast and potatoes were great given my meal a 4.5. Enough food I could have shared it with someone and I’m a bigger guy.
- My wife had pancake, eggs, sausage and bacon. She and I both agree 5 out of 5. Bacon cooked to order meaning you can get crispy, soft or how ever you want it. Both eggs and bacon cooked to her liking (more difficult than you know)
- Menu had plenty to choose from and as they brought food out I was food watching and it all looked so good.
Price - about what you’d expect to pay for Destin touristy area. I will say quality of food and staff, price was better than expected

The French toast was excellent and well proportioned, but the avocado toast was only one slice and left me hungry, eating off my husband’s plates. I was not asked by the waiter if I wanted a runny egg on the toast and it just got everywhere 😞. The young hostess tried to seat us at a table the poor busboy hadn’t cleared yet, it was embarrassing. And she told an older lady that the table was ready! I should have walked back outside. Otherwise lovely. Very busy place with seating outside. Parking a bit of a hassle but there’s also businesses nearby. They had a guitarist outside singing.

Fabulous food and service. Our server Brandon was the best. A real local who was happy to answer our questions. Husband had etouffe. I had avocado toast with egg and fruit with a side of their bacon which really is special.

I had been in two days Pryor and ordered an omelette and it was delicious. Two days later I went again and ordered the same omelette and it was mushy and soggy and tasted nasty. When the waitress checked on how my meal was I told her. She asked if I wanted something else, but said I would still be charged for the nasty soggy omelette regardless. I think it was about $18.00 and they’re still charging for a poor quality meal? She told me the manager could talk with me and I declined as I didn’t want to make a big deal out of the policy. She later came back and said she could charge half price for the omelette if I wanted to order something else. I declined and picked around to try to find anything that wasn’t nasty or soggy tasting. I was raised in the restaurant business and this policy is a first for me. Pretty poor customer service to charge anything for a meal that is basically not edible. This place has been a go to for me for over 10 years and I’ll not return.

The server was knowledgeable about the menu and friendly. The food came out quickly and was hot. We all ordered different things and everybody's meals were delicious. From pancakes to cinnamon roll to eggs benedict dishes. The kids got chocolate milk and it was served with whipped cream and chocolate chips. We held our spot online ahead of time. There was a wait, but it didn't seem too long. We would definitely go back.

We had the tiramisu french toast, cinnamon roll, cup of fresh fruit, some omelet with chicken and andouille sausage, coffee, orange juice, and a mimosa. When I tell you this is the best breakfast I've had in years please believe I'm not lying. The French toast was not too sweet, just the perfect amount. My kiddo tore up that cinnamon roll. The coffee was so fresh and strong, yum yum yum!!! The absolute best item was the omelet. I've never had an omelet like that, it was like a cajun omelet and lord Jesus it was so stinkin good. This was definitely worth the 25 minute wait.

During our 2 months in January -February we came here at least 5 times, once with daughter and granddaughter. They both agreed with us it's a 5+!
Hubby's fav is the Rajun Cajun omelet with fruit instead of potatoes and no crawfish. I flip between the daybreak scramble and the chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs/cheese. The tea and coffee are fresh and so is the orange juice!

Had this place on our trip list and it did not disappoint. Just a short distance from our condo, we stopped in this place to find a large group of people waiting for a table. However, my wife and I were seated immediately at the bar, and it worked out great. The young lady behind the bar was a great waitress and we chatted with some others at the bar while eating. I had the lobster grits with a side order of corn beef hash. The lobster grits were outstanding with cherry tomatoes and green onions. My wife had the Spinachado omelet which she stated was outstanding. Service was great, price was reasonable, and food was very good. I would highly recommend this place when looking for breakfast options in Destin.

Best Breakfast in Destin. The food was wonderful, especially the Lobster and Gouda grits, and I don't eat grits. We felt the server woke up on the wrong side of the bed. She was a little short and we felt rushed. Other than that we had a wonderful experience. We would definitely come back when returning to Destin.

We had the best breakfast here! Cute and exceptionally clean Cafe (even the restroom! ) with the most gracious and attentive servers! The food portions were huge and food was cooked and served quickly and steaming hot. Will go back!

Wanted typical breakfast, we ordered biscuits and gravy. One order sausage and we’ll done eggs, bacon and medium eggs.. The sausage order eggs were so burnt had to try to peel off the brown burnt skin absolutely terrible, Bacon order the bacon was soggy didn’t really looked cooked, it was translucent. I asked for bill the waitress laid it on the table walked off, we waited a few minutes for her to come back. I left cash. Also a gentleman was putting silverware in little bags and picking his nose at the same time, very interesting place. Would not recommend

Stopped here for breakfast and it was amazing!! My husband got the rajin Cajun omelet so that’s good if you like spicy and I got the tiramisu French toast and it was AMAZING if you like sweet! The oj is fresh and the decor and atmosphere super cute!! And very friendly staff

We stopped in about 8 AM on a Saturday morning and got right in. The service was fast and friendly. I had scrambled eggs, grits and an English muffin. My husband had the breakfast sandwich. He said the bacon was some of the best he’s ever had. The sandwich was made on Texas toast which was way too much bread so he ate it open faced. Everything was delicious and we would definitely go back.

We aren't much of a "go out for breakfast or brunch" type family. We tend to take our time and be pretty lazy in the mornings while on vacation. However, we made an exception while visiting Destin this year because the reviews for this restaurant were good. Crackings kept popping up online as a place to visit so we thought we'd give it a try and we were not disappointed! The food was SO GOOD! The portions were pretty large. Our family had the Tiramisu French Toast, Biscuits & Gravy, Country Fried Steak, and the Huevos Rancheros. Everyone enjoyed it all!

We decided our main meal of the day on one of our days while in Destin would be breakfast. We found Crackings and were glad that we did! I had bacon, biscuit with gravy, two eggs over medium, fried potatoes and pineapple juice, while my wife had a Belgian waffle, bacon and milk, and it was all good. We both asked that the bacon be crispy, my eggs to be over-medium and my wife's waffle to be a bit crispy. Everything was cooked perfectly! The gravy was even a light tan instead of the raw, white gravy seen so much in restaurants. It tasted like what we make at home. Our server, Ansley, was wonderful! She was smiling, friendly, helpful and efficient. She had a "can-do" attitude and wished us a blessed day as we left. This is one of our best food experiences in Destin.
