Went on a long bike ride and found this gem downtown. Good food and great service. He ordered the chicken & waffles and I had the shrimp & grits. We both had mimosas. All things good here...don’t mind the cute kitty roaming the property.

I had the opportunity to go to Lulu's for both dinner and brunch within the same week--dinner inside its cozy little interior, as it was a frigid night, and brunch outside in its charming thrift-shop chic garden on a sunny afternoon (in the high 50s...More

We expected a mansion, but this restaurant is pretty much a shack. My sister ordered a nicoise salad and described it as “boring”. I had a salad with salmon. The salmon was fatty and undercooked. It took ages to get it back. The waitress appeared...More

Service was not very good; did not check in with us at all after serving asking other things. The dining room is TINY as it is a converted garage. FREEZING inside! The success were good but tasted store bought. The fish was bland and mushy....More

The soup special was Butternut Squash Bisque, and it was excellent. My grouper sandwich with potato salad was very good, as was my wife’s crab cake. It was a cool day so we sat inside where there are only about eight tables but it’s a...More

... blackened grouper and fried oysters for me and scallops for my wife. Everything was prepared perfectly and presented well. We particularly enjoyed the butternut squash soup, and the key lime pie had a well-executed sweet graham cracker crust. Service was super!

We enjoyed our first lunch so much that we went back the next day! Both meals were the best of our five days (and numerous restaurant meals) on Amelia. Located down a side-street in downtown, it's an easy walk and pleasant atmosphere at LuLu's. The...More

As we four friends continue our road trip from PA & NC down South, we stopped in this beautiful little town for the purpose of drinking & dining, then sleep. We didn’t realize it was “Restaurant Week” here and had a little difficulty booking 4...More
