I ate at this restaurant as part of a large tour group. We had a limited menu to choose from but all of the folks on the tour raved about the food. Our menu choices arrived hot and steaming. Our waiter was attentive without being pushy. If you go, you may want to call ahead to see if you need... More

I am reluctantly giving this 3 stars solely because of the service. On a prior visit last year we had a leisurely meal on the patio with wonderful service so this was quite disappointing. The food was very good and it is a wonderful menu. We went Feb 18 and ate indoors with 3 adults and one child. The front... More

I started with tapas - the calamari steak, the stuffed peppers, & empanadas. The calamari steak was outstanding, and is the best thing I've eaten since my arrival. I then had seafood paella which was *good* but nothing compares to that calamari. Drank a 1/2 pitcher of sangria and the waiter brought me a flan with a little candle for... More

We liked the scallops very much. The fish was fresh but less remarkable. Wonderful sangria! I had a strong urge to return the following night and order the scallops again.

Dined at Espana earlier this week. The food was fantastic and fresh. I highly recommend saving room for the flan which is some of the best I've ever tasted.

This restaurant was a true gem. Everything on the menu looked good. This would be a place to return again and again to try all they have to offer. Omar was our waiter and was excellent!!!! His recommendations were spot on and greatly appreciated. The paella choices were so wonderful. The fish specials were so good. The place has incredible... More

Perfect! A friend and I had three tapas to share and that was perfect for us as we were looking for a light meal. Will try them again and will have one of their good-looking entrees.

The food was delicious, the service impeccable, the restaurant had ambience. It was a wonderful experience! I would recommend the paella or the spicy snapper (only if you enjoy very spicy dishes). They also have a wonderful selection of tapas. Save room for dessert!!

The traditional flavors of Spain and Portugal are highlighted in all our dishes here in the heart of historic Fernandina Beach. Sip on homemade Sangria or enjoy a glass of wine from a list of hand picked selections (International and Californian). Choose from a menu of hot and cold tapas, "just caught" fish or meat entrees including the national dish of Spain, Paella. You can choose to dine in our cozy main dining room, bright enclosed patio dining room or lush garden dining area which is open generally Thursday - Sunday and weather permitting :) Chef Roberto is a second generation restaurateur, with over 28 years experience. He endeavors to make your evening a memorable one by bringing both his own family recipes, and inspiration from trips to Spain and Portugal for you to savor and enjoy. Family owned and operated since 2004. The Original on Amelia Island!
