Easy access from the water taxi. Valet parking if by land. Very casual. Many great seafood choices - and all are well prepared. Entertainment in evenings.

Hop off the Water Taxi and walk straight onto the outside porch of this restaurant, excellent food for lunch at very reasonable prices. Great views of the waterways and passing craft both big and small. Try the fish of the day you will not be disappointed. By the time you have finished lunch, just hop back on the Water Taxi!

I reviewed several Ft. Lauderdale waterfront restaurants this morning. I settled on 15th Street Fisheries for their good looking menu and prime location for watching the central Ft. Lauderdale waterfront. Contrary to some recent reviews about service, ours was stellar and super friendly by all staff. The hostess said yes, we could sit in a somewhat remote outside area with... Been coming here for years. Sadly the manager seated a party of 12 in the small room. "They requested it" she said. Clearly a 20x20 room cannot fit a party of 12. Not with 6 other 4 tops. The noise was unbelievable. The service (of one waitress serving 36) was unbelievably bad. All the guests were upset. Except the party... More

There are two restaurants here and we seemed to always choose the downstairs one as it has a more reasonably priced menu and if you get a window table you can see the giant tarpons swimming in the water near the dock the food is very good and service is pretty quick

We were disappointed that we couldn't get a water view table without a long wait on a Sunday night. The seafood was excellent. We ordered the peel and eat shrimp for an appetizer and then ordered grilled Mahi and a snapper dish from the upstairs menu. Both featured fried rice and sauces that paired well with the fish. Service was... More

I had the shrimp tacos & they were delicious! We were seated pretty quick. Outside we checked out the huge fish and that was pretty cool! You can feed the fish. They were probably 5-6 feet long!

2.5 stars. Was hoping for a nice evening dinner outside on the waterfront. The restaurant was extremely noisy; service was ok; food was mediocre, at best. All-in-all, not impressed with either of our meals. We ordered the spiny lobster tail from the upstairs menu & a lobster roll and peel and eat shrimp from main menu. There are too many... More

Loved the waterside location of this place. Watching the pelicans in flight and the yachts glide by while eating lunch is a lovely touch. We'd been told by a local that this is the place to go for good seafood and he was correct! The plusses were many: excellent fish and chips; imaginative tropically-tinged cole slaw; moist blackened grouper; and... More

I've been coming here for 23 years and never have I experienced the unpleasantness I did tonight. We had Cesar salad and New England clam chowder for appetizers and both were poor. The salad was dry and not tasty and the soup was salty and looked more like a gravy. I had the key west snapper which was tasteless and... More

Voted "Best Seafood Restaurant", "Best Waterfront Restaurant" and "Best Restaurant to take your parents" in South Florida by a Sun-Sentinel readers poll in 2013. Legendary Local Dining Landmark and Marina. Casual dining with fresh seafood. DockSide Cafe, offers live music on weekends, while watching the daily feeding of Giant Silver Tarpons at our docks. Incredibly creative dining upstairs in a historic setting of early Fort Lauderdale and the marina, a "hush-hush" naval research facility in WW II. Complimentary valet parking and dock for your boat. You simply will not find better views in South Florida, with hundreds of boats navigating the waterways.
