Food was fairly priced. Service was not good. Not that many patrons and the two people serving just didn't seem to coordinate. One table left. Most people kept busy on their phones so they were patient. Very slow! Food just okay.

While Gwendolyn's receives rave reviews for their breakfast menu, lunch is quite a different story. Arrived with a guest during lunch hour and noticed only 8 other patrons seated at the time. We seated ourselves and waited approximately 10 minutes before we were greeted by the wait staff. I inquired about their cafe sandwiches and the Fort Myers chicken sandwich... More

If you don't know the backstory to Gwendolyn's you should look it up. But even the honorable intention of "second chances" wouldn't work if the food sucked (it doesn't). I had a worthwhile turkey ruebin & my wife had the veggie panini, and we were both delighted. If you're in Fort Myers @ lunchtime, go for something a little different... More

This is a little off the main street, but worth looking for. Prices are very reasonable and the food was tasty. Hubby had the corned been hash and was in heaven - it was very meaty just the way he likes it. I tried the downtown scramble which ended up being more like a flattened omelette, but still very tasty.... More

We eat here at least once a week. Everyone knows us, greets us warmly and gives us great service. Lots of locals eat here. Does a huge delivery and take out business. Favorite include homemade tomato basil soup and the Cuban sandwich.

My wife and I went for a late breakfast over the weekend. We were able to sit down right away. The staff was nice and overall service was good. Food was tasty, usual diner menu. I would definitely go back the next time I'm in Fort Myers.

Have visited Fort Myers quite a few times but have never found this cafe, nor would I have done had it not been a stand-up board at the corner of the road. I had a wonderful toasted sandwich with sweet potato fries and being British - hot tea. The cafe was busy not only with customers on the premises but... More

"I have waited oh, so long Please don't tell me, baby, I was wrong Dreaming of you every night Holding back until the time was right" Yes, those are the lyrics in part from the album " DOUBLE VISION " by FOREIGNER. It is the song that Gwendolyn's brought to mind when Joanne and I sat down for what was... More
