Not fancy, but we enjoyed the clams, lobster roll, and chowder which brought back memories of our vacations in Maine. Good service. There were lots of early bird specials if you want to save some money. Will definitely return.

Every trip to Florida includes a meal at the Clam Bake. The staff is always excellent and have never had a meal that was not excellent. Loved this twist on a Rueben sandwich... Haddock was excellent, not breaded, and delicious. See you in a few months!

The chefs REALLY know how to cook seafood to perfection. Local fish is the grouper, and broiled it was superb. Calamari appetizer was just right too. Of course clams and other shellfish are very popular too. Servers were uniformly cheery and polite and not rushing to get you out--not the norm for the tourist area around Naples/Ft. Myers/Sanibel where many... More

We visited the Clam Bake on two occasions while visiting our family. They eat there several times per week (they live nearby, in Fort Myers). The place is inconspicuous. It is in a little strip mall (not very attractive - from the exterior). Inside, it is casual, yet comfortable, and larger than expected. It is primarily open space seating (e.g.... More

We were hungry and all wanted see food. This restaurant came up in our search, reviews were good so we went. Our server was so pleasant and helpful. She gave us great advise on the different fish and what would be the best way to have it prepared. We all enjoyed our choices. The salads were crisp and fresh. Good... More

I sat at bar and was served quickly avoiding an hour or so wait. Service was good considering how busy they were. Cup of Chowder and the Grouper Reuben sandwich were both excellent. Generous portions. Highly recommend !

This is a relative to the Clam Shack in Sanibel but with a full bar and more extensive menu. It is a bit difficult to find because it is in a strip mall the has a lot of vacant stores. But definitely worth the effort. It is a lot larger than it appears and it still was crowded: a good... More

Yes I was from New England. Now Year rounders. First time here with group of 18. Great classic seafood dishes. Chowder , garlic bread, steamers crabcakes, lobster roll, swordfish, stuffed shrimp. And more , everyone was extremely pleased. Service A++. Prices were where they should be. Just right. All day happy hour Saturday. Mon-Fri 3-6. Casual seafood dining at its... More

I had broiled scallops. OK. Chowder, too thick and no real clam flavor. They offered to add some clam juice but I don't know if it would have helped. My other friends had the lobster roll sandwiches. They liked them very much. The restaurant offered free dessert to the birthday girl which was nice. Not really worth the drive.

if your like me you like your seafood served hot. I know they have some special kitchen equipment to deliver their food consistently at the perfect temperature. Restaurant has a new England sports flair and the bartenders are awesome too. Try the special house martini with pear juice!
