Had dinner at Doc Ford's Rum bar & grille, great food & great service! Karli was friendly & knowledgeable about the food & cocktails. Her suggestions were great. Food is amazing--try the Yucatán shrimp! Yum! Thanks for a great night & dinner Karli 😀.

Great restaurant on the back bay especially from the boat. They have tie ups and people to help you dock. The drinks were great and the menu is excellent.

Here's another jewel of Fort Myers. Went with a couple on a Tuesday night and it was. Yay as usually. That's a good thing. Waterfront deck was perfect. But the food was even better. One dish was a special with scallops with black linguini and a wine sauce. Also our table had the salmon, coconut shrimp and pork shoulder entries.... More

Doc Ford's restaurants never disappoint! We love the menu and the ambiance... their ceviche and conch chowder are amazing!! Our favorite location is the Fort Myers Beach location… Being right on the water, you can sit and watch the boats dock while enjoying an amazing meal!

I wanted Stone Crab before I left. I called Doc Fords in the morning to ask if they had it and they said Yes! So our group decided to make reservations. After we were seated I ask the waiter about the Stone Crab and he said they didn't have any that day!! I told him that I called that morning,... More

We stopped here for lunch there is a nice water view you can see the shrimp fleet and plenty of Pelicans while enjoying your meal. The food was all good my wife and I had Grouper sandwiches the only complaint on them is the way they were plated the bottom bun was soggy. The rest of our group had hamburgers... More

While you can drive here, we take the boat and tie up in one of their slips. The staff always comes out to help, which we appreciate. This is part of the fun! Yucatan shrimp tacos, Cuban sandwich and wings are all yummy and worth ordering. I would also recommend the strawberry banana mojito as it is flavorful without being... More

Our group of 9 docked and ate here during our afternoon boat trip. Our server, Brian, was prompt, friendly and polite. Our group order flat bread, a flounder oriental dish, grouper sandwich and salads. Everyone loved their selections. Restrooms needed attention. This is the only reason we rated this 4 instead of 5

We love Doc Ford's when we visited it for the first time in April 2015. We went again in January 2016. We visited twice in January 2017 and the food is really no where as good as it was. The selection is not that good. Our favorite dessert was the bread pudding. Two years ago it was to die for.... More

Good food and very friendy service. View of Marina and inter Coastal. Little hard to get to but worth it. Just off the Estero Island bridge on land side. Also, once u get there you can walk to the Dixie Fish Co restaurant and small fish market next door and owned by Doc Fords. It is a little more rustic.... More
