Just WOW! This was the best steak I have EVER eaten. I had the Ribeye with Fettuccine Alfredo. There was also a small piece of Prime Rib on my plate and I WILL have that the next time. My wife had the manicotti and she said it was wonderful. Our friend had the Chicken Piccata and it was also wonderful.... More

Had a Christmas dinner with a family of 15 in the sunroom of Magnolia Grill. The waitress was wonderful and very accommodating. The gumbo was incredible. My sister had the chicken piccata and said it was the delicious. The ribeye is the best item on the menu. Order the prime rib med-rare or it may come a little over cooked.... More

Located (actually, hidden) a mile east of the Comfort Inn and a half mile west of the Destin Beach bridge just south of Highway 98 on a parallel street called Brookes Street, the Magnolia Grill is well worth the search. We were cruising the historical area of Fort Walton and spotted this delightful house. Although we had already eaten lunch... More

The steak here was wonderful, if a bit on the expensive side. The atmosphere is unique and the staff excellent. For a restaurant of this class, it would be nice if the staff had offered to take our coats. On the day we visited it was a freezing cold day, for Florida, and we were well wrapped up. My major... This place is truly a hidden gem. My husband declared the grouper the best he has ever experienced, and this guy eats a lot of grouper. My chicken parmesan and pasta were wonderful. The chicken was so tender. Huge portions for lunch and amazingly reasonable prices for the quality and quantity of food. Lots of "comfort food" offerings on the... More

This place is full of history. The atmosphere is very casual and chic. The food was incredible. The portions are huge. The steak was "propped up" with another steak for presentation. The owner has Italian cooking background so ordering chicken parmesan is not a bad choice. The night we were there we listened to live smooth jazz.

We have always eaten here on every trip to Ft. Walton. The restaurant is in an old house filled with all kinds of memorabilia. Very interesting. If I remember correctly the same couple have owned and operated this restaurant for twenty years. I order the same thing every time. Crab Cakes served over Spaghetti with a Shrimp Alfredo sauce. The... More

What a great restaurant hidden away from the main drag with great food. The place is like a museum, a thing of the past, but with a modern upscale menu.

This is a unique house, great atmosphere, wonderful food. Fantastic desserts. A nice place for a romantic dinner with lots of history. Ask for a special trip to the upstairs to see all of the past military memorabilia. Tucked away in downtown Fort Walton Beach. A lovely place.

I have lived in the area for 30 years and I love steak, specifically ribeye and filet mignon. This restaurant has the best ribeye within 200 miles (and I have tried most). The sauce is amazing and the size of the steak is so impressive. We tried the french onion soup for the first time last night and it was... More
