The pizza here is much fresher than the other places that sell pizza such as dominoes. There isn't too much cheese or oil. The rolls they give before your meal are to die for. Salads are fresh.

This is as close to a local neighborhood Italian restaurant as any chain could ever get. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is superior. The only down side is trying to decide which food to order. My wife and I have had practically everything on the menu and we have never had anything the least bit disappointing.
I had never been to Piesanos, and greatly enjoyed the experience. Our waiter was very pleasant. Lunch specials are honored on the weekends, too. We ordered a large Mediterranean salad which was very adequate for the three of us. I ordered a blackened chickens sandwich which was tasty, and my friends ordered calamari which they greatly enjoyed. Would definitely come... More
We ordered pizza from here a few months ago when we moved to the area. It was pretty expensive and really not that great. We hadn't ordered again or dined in here until recently. My 7 year old son and I had dinner here a few weeks ago. The staff was friendly. Our waiter was telling my son stories about... More
Had the Philly Calzone with Chicken instead of Steak. The Calzone was excellent and the service even better. Their complimentary bread with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and spices was outstanding. On a side note their sweet tea was fabulous as well.
We have been going to Piesanos for a couple of years now. The other week we tried a pizza place downtown. It was terrible compared to Piesanos. Piesanos is so good. Compared to every other Italian restaurant we have tried in Gainesville this is so much better. Bigger portions, great service, dogs taste great...what more could you want. If you... More

The crusts have always been great and as well as the toppings. Don't know what else to say other then give them a try and don't let... More
This place was suggested by one of our hotel clerks. Strike out! Boxed pasta that you could tell was sitting a good while before being reheated in hot water. Frozen chicken for the chicken parm and what appeared to be shredded cheese placed under a broiler to melt. My daughter said she enjoyed her pizza but my wife, who had... More
