Kitchy restaurant with Tex Mex Flair and sauces galore. Our waitress brought us a plate of all of the sauces to try and they were all pretty interesting. We ended up finishing them off with our tortilla chips, which may not have been the best travel friendly road trip meal we could have eaten so keep that in mind. The... More

The decor was nice, the food was hot and flavorful. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. Happy hour with complimentary nacho bar was good. Many selections for salsas made for an interesting dinner comparing flavors. Just in town for one night and glad we visited.

Stopped for impromptu lunch....And glad I did! I could find just on their thin crispy, perfectly salted, chips! Be sure to try with the creamy jalapeno dip! The tortillas are fresh made on site and were perfect!

Mom wanted to go because she'd visited one in Texas and really liked it...she was looking forward to it! The rice was dry, the queso was not great, the chips are too thin (although she liked them)..the music was too loud. We couldn't even have a conversation.

The best TEX-MEX in Gainesville, with awesome burritos, enchiladas, and fajitas, great jalapeno ranch dip for their freshly made chips and excellent combo platters, especially the Elvis.

Typical as it's so much like other Mexican restaurants. Sometimes good, sometimes not. Rather noisy. I would not go back because I prefer a quiet relaxing atmosphere and there are so many really great restaurants in Gainesville.

In town on business, five went to dinner here for Tex-Mex. Seated promptly, servr was attenative. One did not eat due to a late lunch. All others commented on the lack of taste/flavor. One had Fish Tacos, she ate one half of one and said she could not handle the taste. One guest had Chilli Relinoes, very unusual as it... More

We stopped at Chuys in Gainesville, on our way back home to South Florida. It is a good looking restaurant, and was hopping on an early Saturday evening. After a short wait our waiter, a bearded guy with a necklace, that looked like a hippie wanna be, took our drink order. We immediately noticed his extremely strong scent of incense... More

My wife and I went there for a day date while the kids were in school. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was one of a kind.

We keep coming back.....due to great service, delicious, freshly prepared food and good value. My husband loves the Elvis Special.....always has to take some of it home 'cause it's a lot of food. I had chicken enchiladas....so yummy. You really can't go wrong with much there....we'll return!...oh....and the margaritas are good too!

Thank Vicki M
