It’s a little dark in here and the lack of bright signs out front made me think the place was closed. However, once I made my way in and started on a Cuban sandwich, I knew I had found the right place. It’s was very...More

Not easy to spot on University Ave on the corner of W. 2nd. Heard about the good pastries but thought I'd try the chicken tacos. They were excellent with the pineapple chipotle sauce. Very reasonably priced too and open real real late.
One night a friend and I were studying a block away from Flaco's. You could smell the most amazing smells, so distracting we had to get a Ropa Vieja before we could continue studying. It may not be fancy, but the food is great.

Wow, best Cuban sandwich I've had. Cute place. Great value. I added the spicy mayo to my sandwich and loved it. Authentic Cuban pork cooking and preparation. They make the bread and all sauces on site. I look forward to returning.

I mostly get a colada here, and maybe an empanada, but it is good, like down in Miami. If you are used to places like this in South Florida, you will appreciate this place. I heard the Cuban sandwiches are good, and the late night...More
