Excellent food and drinks. Come at 5:00pm sharp for a seat at the bar so that you can partake in their happy hour menu. It does fill up quickly! $10 appetizers and buy one get one drinks. The appetizers included tuna Tataki, shrimp tacos, a giant meatball, Shishito peppers, chicken wings, and salmon bites on crispy rice. All very good! The drinks are also top notch - $16 - but you get two, so still a good deal! George is one of the bartenders and is well known by the locals who dine here. He makes REALLY good cocktails, especially mojitos! If you want more than happy hour, they have some awesome entrees too, salads, and pizzas. I highly recommend this place!

Came here for breakfast this AM with my bf and my best friend and her 5 month old baby. Anastasia and Maria gave us the five star experience making our meal quite special. Maria made us these fabulous screwdrivers! Anastasia made sure we had everything we needed and we were served our food within 15 minutes of siting down. Incredible. Food was so fresh! Even the ice tea tasted impeccable with freshness! Couldn’t be happier with Tavern N’ Town! They never disappoint and make us feel right at home. So much fun! Always a great time for anyone and everyone!

My husband and I went to dinner for my husband's birthday on Monday, 08/12/24. Ben was our waiter - he was wonderful and made our experience a delight. He was very friendly and we shared some good conversations with him. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was calm and inviting. The kitchen is always on point, the food is always consistently delicious, and the service was prompt. We also appreciate the non-alcoholic drink options on the menu - the N/A watermelon mojito was refreshing. My husband and I would definitely recommend Tavern and Town to family and friends, since we've always had a great experience there.

Place was recommended by a friend as I was visiting Key West. I heard about the wood burning grill and pizza oven and was really looking forward to sharing one of the pizzas with my friends. Well , they were out of all the pizzas that evening which is a little bit strange for this kind out restaurant. We had Tuna Tataki which was fine but as to my taste could be sliced thinner. French Onion soup was disappointing , lacked any flavor. The 21oz. Prime Cowboy Ribeye was tough and chewy even-though it was nice and pink on the inside. Risotto was overlooked and tasted like a puree .... Wine and cocktails were good. Overall disappointed as I was expecting to have a real nice meal.

Was a major disappointment. the food was good, service beyond lousy. Take drink order and get brad - 1hr. specifically flagged the issue early on to the waitress, asked to guide on the cooking time (with 2 hungry) kids. The next time I was her was 30 min later to ask if we wanted another drink (1.5 after sitting down). Bottom line - appetizers 1.5 hrs, main dish - 2 hrs.
The boss stopped by to check on us, had an attentive posture, nodded a lot, and took 8 bucks appetizer on a 380 bill … promised to box stuff up and disappeared.
Anyway, food is good, service is lousy.

We expected much more from a restaurant at this price range. We ordered a ribeye steak costing $55 which tasted less than a $30 steak you get in any common steakhouse network. Also their sweet potato chips were way too spicy. The burger was relatively ok.

We thought we would give this restaurant a try since it was within walking distant of our hotel. The restaurant was so dark at the table they sat us at. we had to use cell phone flash lights to read it. The piano player was too loud also. the two men in our party ordered prime rib and it came with a sauce over it and it ruin the taste of prime rib. So dark we had no idea what we were eating. Would not recommend this restaurant

My wife and I went for dinner and had the worst customer service experience we have had from any restaurant in the area. It took 15 minutes for our waitress to even speak to us after being seated. She didn’t write anything down so my specific request was not completed. Once we got our food, our waitress did not speak to us at all or refill our drinks for so long that we were finished eating and ready to go. She walked around doing anything but her job as a waitress. The food was okay, not worth the price but it was tasty and prompt. But the service was unbelievably bad.

We stayed at this resort. Busy day of travel so decided to try first night. Good food, service. 3 couples, variety of food all good.
We then ate there again with rainy day on day prior to leaving and good food again ordering different items. French onion soup excellent. My husband liked tavern burger, I also had chicken and excellent. Had few desserts- also good.

As a long time customer of TT, i feel like i have to write this review.
The 5 of us came for dinner and seat in the back room ( That we love )
The Fews appetizer where good the main course came and we order the prime rib very tuff my wife was not able to eat it, the other was a filet who post be med to med well and was med rare the other was a wagyu burger who was good my chicken with a Parmesan crust was great.
Overall for the price not a great experience

We decided to go to this restaurant because we liked what we saw on the menu online. When we arrived at the restaurant we were given what amounted to a high priced kid’s menu. When we walked out of the restaurant to search for a better choice we were followed into the parking lot by the host who said the restaurant had just reopened and it was a limited menu. He said “ we left the popular things like the pizza” to which I replied “I certainly did not come to Key West to eat pizza”. “If you want to have that for your happy hour menu that’s great, your pool bar that’s awesome but not your dinner menu”. We understand this but someone who works for the restaurant should have corrected the menu online prior to reopening.

I would like to apologize for the menus not being updated online and can completely understand your frustration with the menu being different upon arrival.
Our marketing team has submitted our updated menus, however, we were informed that unfortunately it takes a few days and I completely agree with you that our menus should have been updated prior to opening; again please accept our sincere apologies.
Due to the current restraints on occupancy due to Covid, our menu is designed to provide an array of different options while still being able to accommodate our guests with a menu that is more than just appetizer selections.

Beautifully decorated dining area , particularly liked the comfortable booths .The Piano player certainly added to the warm and friendly ambience of Tavern N Town. Our server Christina was friendly and efficient...super service! I had The Local Catch of Tilefish served over linguini with a mouth -watering lemon-butter caper sauce...Outstanding! The Executive Chef served us a taste of Tuna Tacos that sure awakened my taste buds, incredibly delicious ! I couldn't resist the Key Lime Dessert ...YUM!

The rest of my family thought the dinner we had here was great; I thought it was just okay. Service, drinks, and ambience were good. The $37 "Tavern Burger" was terribly overpriced for what it was -- it may (might?) have been Wagyu, but it sure looked small for a 1/2 lb burger, and it was dry. I was suspicious a $37 burger and fries would be worth it, and I was confirmed correct (despite the fries being delish; you don't have to pay that much for them...)

I was down in Key West a couple of weeks ago, and was fortunate enough to hit a LOT of great restaurants during my stay. We ate at some of the most critically acclaimed restaurants on the island, but, none of them even compared to this place. It all started with a really professional, friendly, helpful server named Roger. He literally went above and beyond to be SURE this was the greatest dinner we would eat in Key West.
The food was indescribable. Have you ever watched any shows on Food Network? Well, out entire meal was something I would have only dreamed about ever getting to try. It looked strait out of Food Network TV, and tasted even better than it looked.
The dessert was the most beautiful, delicious sweet food I've ever tasted, and likely ever will.
Roger was a big part of the reason we enjoyed our meal. He made us feel welcomed, content, special and FULL.

This restaurant is attached to the Marriott Beachside property. The service was fantastic! There is live music. The prices are reasonable and you can request alcoholic beverages to go as there are no single beers or wines in the front desk sundries market.
