By far the coolest waiter in Key West. He made us feel at home—and the food was killer awesome too! We come here year after year. Give it a shot!

This is a good place for Asian food. The sushi is good, and the Thai food is also good. The outdoor deck has a good view overlooking the small harbor of Garrison Bight. Prices are reasonable. Service is good. Also good for take out. Have been here often.

We were here with our little guy who was being awful. And our server jumped into action and brought him a fancy drink and even a huge bowl of ice cream. By far the best service I have ever had. Food was fantastic portions were huge. Alex was his name and we loved him, going back soon.

The food here is fantastic & the staff is always very attentive. I always return for each trip and have never been dissapointed. I ordered the lobster roll last time and it was delicious! can't wait to go back again.

The food was average when we went so we chalked this place up to paying for the view which is outstanding. There is also a bar below the restaurant in case you want to have an adult beverage or two.

If your in need of something different and fancy a thai then it is worth a visit. The food we had was good. We had chicken panang, pad se ew and various starters. Like some of the other reviews state the decor is worn and could do with a face lift and from experience thai people can come across as... More

The Thai Island Restaurant & Sushi Bar is a fun place. I read some of the other reviews about the food being bland, the place being worn out, and its not what it used to be. The place is a little worn on the inside, especially the main floor bar area when you walk in. The upstairs patio overlooking the... More

The place looked run down. The chairs not clean. The staff not friendly. After we were served the waitress didn't come to check on us. We had to go looking for her for more food. The portions were very small. Also be careful when you get the bill...the gratuity is included in the bill yet when you get the bill... More

First of all, the lady that answers the phone - should take a class on manners. Very rude on the phone. No please, no thank you. The sushi I ordered was disgusting. The tuna that they used must have been old or something, because it looked like someone chewed it up and then spit it out. The sushi also lacked... More

Hello, I am sorry that you feel that you were not treated with the delicacy that you feel that you deserved. Rudeness is never tolerated, but a busy restaurant environment can be LOUD and telephone communications can be curt out of a need for conciseness and clarity. Principally I would like to distinguish for all readers that your experience is based... More

After eating in various places in Key West, we were hoping for something better here as we love Thai food, but particularly after trying the other Thai restaurant on the other side. But while it was slightly better, the food was still somehow missing something. Staff were quite friendly, though the Thai owner looked like she didn't want to be... More

Description
Thai Island is a large waterfront Thai and Sushi patio restaurant that opened Valentine's Day 2008. Thai Island's menu contains one of the largest selection of fine fresh ingredients: including locally harvested thai herbs and spices combined with local noodles, meats and seafood used in preparation of traditional thai dishes. In addition to onsite dining, Thai Island also delivers to all locations within Key West as well as on Stock Island. Also on the same property and at this waterfront location is the newly renovated Barrelhead Bar, which is the site of the 1989 filming of the James Bond "License to Kill" movie, starring Timothy Dalton. Enjoy happy hour with our locals: including our experienced boat captains.
