We stopped at the restaurant below, Nine One Five, and they had no space so we went upstairs to this place. It was on a balcony that wrapped around the building; open air but no particular view. The food and service were good but the menu was limited. They said it was the same chef as the restaurant below but... More

We ate here on two evenings as we were unable to get a table downstairs at its sister restaurant 915. The menu choices were good - scallops, octopus, devils on horseback all recommended starters ; main courses of fish or beef tacos both delicious, also the lobster and shrimp pasts dishes. The menu isn't extensive and could do with a... More

Tried to stop in at 915 Duval but they didn't have an opening for over an hour for two people. The menu looked great and the hostess suggested upstairs; same chef, different menu, more casual feel - done. We ordered cocktails which were just ok, a little on the sweet side but I'm sure that's all in what you are... More

Wandering around late-ish (for dinner anyway) and continued to strike out at every restaurant we tried to go to off a top 10 list I was working when we ran into some locals and asked for a recommendation. They took us to Point 5, which is upstairs from the main restaurant. Better views of the foot traffic and great small... More

The HipTourist told us about Point 5 and everything was perfect. The food was outstanding. Fresh fish dishes and the drinks were spot on. Our bar tender/server was friendly and knew exactly what we should have from the menu. I will be back.

We've been returning here for the past 5 yrs and find it the best place to watch the human zoo of Duval Street from the pleasant, restful balcony. The menu has been a bit disappointing over the past year and we miss their great pizzas. BUT, the cocktails are the best. Bartender Andrew is charming and makes terrific martini's (Vesper!).... We were in Key West for a week and we ate at Point 5 and its sister restaurant 915 Duval for five out of seven days. The reason? Each time we strayed away from Point 5 and 915 Duval, on the recommendation of local friends, we were disappointed. The food at Point 5, which shares the chef with 915 Duval,... More

Stoped by late for a light meal (not much else was open). You need to proceed through the lower restaurant to the left to find the stairs (they really tried to seat us downstairs). Once upstairs we stepped into a local Christmas party and the participants were having a very good time. We fought our way through the crowd and... More

Had the gnocchi in a sun dried tomato cream sauce one day and the walnut/pistachio tacos another night. My husband had the chipotle pork tacos one night, and the lobster ravioli the other -- all dishes were DELISH. Drinks were great, too! All from a lovely porch where you can watch the world go by below you.

Right atop the 915, the point 5 bar is a wonderful spot on the 'quieter' side of Duval street. the cocktails were outstanding. From the perfect storm that I definitely will copy,a tamarind rum cocktail that showcased all its ingredients perfectly, and a key lime martini that everyone loved. The appetizers were all a major hit. The thai style wings... More

nine one five bistro and wine bar is located in a magnificent Victorian house: circa 1850. Since opening in 2002 we have received national & international acclaim with 2 James Beard Foundation invitations. The food is simple fare prepared properly - no fuss just great food with an international wine list to back it up.
