Lovely outdoor dining with exquisite view of the gulf and sunset key! Our server Agrita was exceptional, she knew the menu well and offered her personal favorites! The food and drinks were delicious and exceeded our expectations!! We will definitely be back!!

Impeccable, friendly service and fantastic food! Came here right after watching the sunset from Mallory Square for a celebratory birthday dinner for my husband. Our table wasn't ready yet (we were early) but we were able to sit at the bar and enjoyed a couple...of signature cocktails. When we were taken to the table we were surprised with a Happy Birthday sign! Joanne, our server, was outstanding along with all of the other staff - would highly recommend!More

We had a lovely anniversary celebration dinner at Hot Tin Roof. We were greeted at our table with a thoughtful sign wishing us a happy anniversary. The food was amazing. We enjoyed four of the smaller sized plates which was perfect and allowed us to...try different things. We also had the banana cheese cake dessert. It was beautiful but very rich! Our server Joanne was delightful. She took great care of us and ensured we ordered well. We sat on the outdoor part of the restaurant and were treated to a beautiful sunset. It does get a little toasty on the patio waiting for the sunset because the blinds are down. We cannot wait to return!More

Outstanding dinner with spectacular sunset view. Joanne, our server, provided prompt, friendly service and offered many good recommendations. From the crab cake to the Veal Osso Bucco to the Key Lime pie. We had 3 meals here during our stay. Each one was excellent. When...we come back to Key West we will definitely be coming here and to the Ocean Key Resort. Kevin and Phyllis L.More

Best dining experience we had during our trip. We were originally seated inside, and had a loud table with small children next to us. Hot Tin Roof could not be more accommodating giving us multiple options to move to, and eventually went outside. The view,...especially during sunset, was breathtaking. Every aspect of the meal from Apps to drinks to main course to dessert were top notch. Our server Joanne G. was an absolute pleasure. Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for a date night or to celebrate an occasion.More

We booked a reservation to catch sunset and had a wonderful time. Our server, Dede was the best and made it a wonderful night. Everything we ate was wonderful, especially the duck and Cuban bread pudding. Will definitely be back!

I really wanted to love this place. All the reviews indicate it is so good but we found it to be just average at best. There was nothing great about the food - my eggs Benedict was impossible to cut through - the ham was...too thick. I could not eat the portobello slider - it tasted awful. The other dishes were just average. See pic of short rib taco in this review. It was cold and did not look very appealing. Sadly the best dish was the cinnamon bun and the fruit. I was very excited to see the cocktail offerings but disappointed as they came out. Again these were very average. The servers were attentive. They did their job well. But I would not return.More

Had a great anniversary dinner at Hot Tin Roof. Our waitress Joanne was wonderful. We shared the Ribeye special and the Colossal Shrimp and Scallops. Everything was good, but the scallops were the best I’ve ever had! So good. The Cuban bread pudding was amazing....The service, food, drinks and experience was perfect for our anniversary celebration!More

Was here for my first time on a birthday dinner with my mother. The ambience and outside dining was excellent even though we had arrived after sunset had taken place. Our server Dede was extremely attentive, well-spoken, polite, knowledgeable on the menu, and never let...my glass of water go under halfway. Her recommendations did not go on deaf ears and the Hot Tin Tini / Cuban Bread Pudding were the best drink and dessert i’ve tried in a long time. The small plates are all delicious, especially the mac and cheese with shrimp, andouille sausage, and manchego cheese. The coconut rice in the shrimp and scallops entree was delicious alongside the seafood. Lastly, I must emphasize that if you do go here; Get the Cuban Bread Pudding; even if you don’t like bread pudding, you’ll love this dessert!!!More

So many friends had recommended so we booked dinner. They have a pineapple martini (like you get at Capital Grille) that is really good. The food was excellent as well. My daughters shared 3 small plates while we had main courses. We went all out...and had dessert too- Cuban break pudding and creme brulee. Joanne was our server and did great!More

The outside porch at sunset provided spectacular views of the water. The food was very good, with properly prepared steaks and seafood entrees. Service was attentive and efficient. Prices are high but given the view more understandable.

We sat in the dining room by the window which faces the west. That will give you a great view. But honestly the hotel whether you’re in the dining room or by the outdoor bar will give you a great view of the sunset.
