We were walking around Key West on a Sunday afternoon and decided to eat at Old Town Mexican Cafe for dinner. We grabbed a table near the street so that we could people watch. The chips and salsa were very good. Since we were not driving, we ordered a pitcher of sangria...not disappointed. Our meals were good. Typical mexican dishes,... More

Loved the food!! Huge portions at reasonable prices. Best meal we had in Florida. Key lime pie to die for!

When we arrived at our hotel on Key West, our room was not yet ready for us, so we took a stroll on Duval Street and wound up at the Old Town Mexican Cafe. We sat in the front to do some people watching, shared a pitcher of margaritas, conch fritters and crab cakes. The prices are very reasonable and... More

We ate dinner at this place tonight. Atmosphere is nice and you are sitting outside which is also nice. The food was good and the price was not too bad. The drinks are really watered-down and a bit pricey.

Very enjoyable meal in paradise. Tree canopy and breeze made it very comfortable. Single use bathrooms need some work but otherwise a great place.

We ate lunch and the food was really good. I had the Baja tacos and my husband had steak and poblano pepper quesadilla. Both were excellent! The chips and salsa were very tasty. The salsa was more like a pico de gallo which we really liked. The Sangria wasn't too sweet, just like we like it. Our waiter was very... More

We had just gotten into town and wanted a light dinner. We had margarita and sangria with their complimentary chips and salsa to start. Chips and drinks were good, salsa was chunky and not too spicy. We both went for their tortilla soup and a salad. The soup had a great spice with lots of shredded chicken. It was so... More

Meh.. This place is not great but also not bad. Our server was extremely nice and we were able to be seated pretty quickly. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit lack luster. It was almost empty with only a few tables occupied. The bar only had one patron that kept a dog underneath her seat. While it... More

Casual, well priced cafe with an easy vibe and helpful, charismatic staff. Not fancy by any means but utterly pleasant and relaxed. Some of the cheaper dishes (Americanized Mexican) on Duval.

Great chips and salsa. Great food (we had enchiladas and chicken chimichanga), no alcohol. Our server never even introduced himself! Never told us about the specials. We watched him walk out the "front door" for 10 minutes. He was so rushed throughout our 45 minute dining experience. Never checked in with us to refill drinks or ask how our food... More
