This is a hole in the wall so you won’t like it if you are looking for ambiance. But the food is great. I loved the pork cubanita and the server was very nice. It’s not on Duvall Street so there were no crowds and...More

I would come back to Key West and make sure to stop here again! Chicken Tacos were amazing! Frita Burger with the julienne fried potatoes on top was like nothing I have ever had. Friendly service and casual.

Stopped in to grab some lunch to go. We ordered a frita burger, pork tacos, and chips with guacamole. Everything was delicious and wonderfully prepared. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

I stopped in and tasted the Frits burger Quesadilla. Although tasty it was a little to greasy. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is a cute spot to stop in. I would go back again to try other items on the menu.

Hi Margaret! Gee thanks! We are nice and friendly! It's called a Quesafrita but no worries this is not a test. Can't wait to see you again. Introduce yourself!

My family of 5 recently had our dinner at Frita's. The confused burgers were fabulous. My son's seemed to be lacking the mango chunks in the slaw, but that was fixed when he asked for some. The fried yucca and plantains were tasty and crisp....More

Traveled to Key West to escape winter in Tennessee and Frita's was on our list of food establishments to visit. Total Key West vibe; laid back, eclectic decor and friendly staff. Seating limited and parking is a challenge but so worth it because the food...More

You probably won't be impressed by the building or decor. However, the food more than makes up for it. This is not your traditional burger and much better for it. The shoestring potatoes on top were the perfect addition. The order of plantains we split...More

Description
Breafast, Lunch, Dinner. A unique take-out dine-in establishment just steps from the famous Duval Street. Cuban street food is served up from the outdoor mobile grill under one of Key West's most magnificent bougainvillea trees glowing with twinkling lights at dusk. Tasty beverages homemade flan, and baked goods are created within the adjacent historic conch house under the close scrutiny of local wild roosters. The Frita is a heavenly burger with origins in 1930's Cuba where they were considered a native street food. They are a mouthwatering blend of beef and pork burger seasoned with Spanish spices, topped with a special sauce and crispy fried julienne potatoes, all sandwiched on a Cuban bun. Salty, savory, sweet and crunchy. Additionally there are Cuban inspired tacos with fillings such as guava glazed pork, Local fish and shrimp, and chicken. Empanadas are house made all day and night long. The decor at Frita's is influenced by another famed latin icon - Frida Kahlo - where the art on the wall reflects her style and of course her famous unibrow!
