If you like the casual waterfront experience, this place is great. Lots of action with the marina right next door, and the tarpon hang out under the dock so the tourists can feed them. You can pay for a bucket of fish($5?) or just pay $2 for the opportunity to walk out on the pier to see these HUGE fish,... More

This restaurant is located at Robbies, which is a collection of shops, boat and jet ski rental facility, small marina and the opportunity to feed huge silver Tarpon fish, which is quite fun. It is very lively, the food was pretty good, and there was music. A very enjoyable stop.

My family and I stopped here for a cool down after a great morning kayaking. We were out on about a 15 minute wait for lunch. Once we were seated our server came to the table almost immediately. She introduced herself as Sam and also told us the specials for the day. Sam then took out drink orders, appetizers, and... More

Due to rain, the wait for a table was fairly long (over 30 minutes), but that's to be expected and we were fine with that (I should add this was mid-afternoon and not super busy, just not seating many tables in the rain). Our party of 6 was finally seated at a bar table and proceeded to wait another 40... More

The staff at our hotel recommended these to us. This place is at Robbie's Marina, which is also a must do. This restaurant is totally outside and is very casual. We were here to see the Marina and also to get a boat ride. Our "Lunch" was the Bloody Mary. You get bacon, shrimp, a beef stick and vegetables in... More

After our kayak adventure we sat down in this outdoor venue and had some conch amole w/chips and smoked fish dip appetizers. It was a great afternoon snack and a good way to relax. You can spend most of the day at Robbie's marina in this area - watersports, shops, eat and feed the tarpon. They are impressive.

I've visited the marina before but never had lunch. I got a wonderful fish sandwich and a beer and just enjoyed the view. Loved this place. Don't be afraid to order the fish it's fresh.

In the Florida Keys you'll find this old Keys-style marina and fish shack "somewhere on A1A." A true conch atmosphere with many tasty delights, here in this Florida Keys restaurant you'll find yourself indulged in the Caribbean-inspired cuisine, the compassionate people and old Keys tranquility that is the Hungry Tarpon restaurant in Islamorada. The building has been standing since 1947 and with a home like Robbie's of Islamorada, plus a fascinating history, it all makes the Hungry Tarpon a part of the tradition since 1976. Enjoy dining on our bayside deck with tiki torches lighting up the night. Relax with friends over our fabulous appetizers and watch the boats come and go. Stroll our open air shops then wander to our sandy beach, melt into one of our bayside lounge chairs and let the sea air wash away the rush of the day.
