Went for lunch to say we'd been to this place and we're happy we went! Get the Bloody Mary "trailer trash," it's worth every penny of the $14. Also worth the $$ is the two bucks you can pay to watch tourists feed giant tarpon off the dock in from of the restaurant. The blackened ahi tuna tacos were really... More

On a very busy MLK weekend, we put our name in at the restaurant then bought a. Ickes of fish and went out on the dock to feed the Tarpon. Not an easy thing with the pelicans all over the place. Once seated, we had a great view of the dock and marina so the people watching was worth it!... More

Everything about Robbies screams Tourist Trap. The little shops selling Keys artefacts, tarpon feeding, boats, pelicans and old seadogs everywhere. We weren't going to stop and then decided to have a drink. The barman was great juggling making drinks, preparing bills and dealing with the wait staff. I decided I really had to have the Trailer Trash Bloody Mary and... More

Slow service, food with no seasonings. To top it off they started a fire in pit and it smelled like burnt tires. We paid quickly and left.

I am sorry you did not have a pleasant experience with us. This time of year we are very busy but still strive to get you a table and your food as quickly as possible. We light the fire to prevent mosquitos in our outdoor dining room and this is designed to make your dining experience more enjoyable. More

Located on the marina dock, you can sit outside in the perfect weather. Its relaxed nice decor, friendly staff, good menu. We had ice tea fish and chips.

On our way from Islamarado to Key West-this was a nice, friendly stop without a huge crowd. Great food, ample portions, and fun watching the boat crews prepare for the day (and the birds trying to stop them).

When we got here they said it was 1 hour to be seated, And offer us to go and feed the fish at no cost for the waiting time. After the hour, the moment we got our table the waiter told us that we had to wait another hour just to get the food. :(

I apologize that you were disappointed with the wait for our food. This is our busiest time of the year and unfortunately we have a little bit higher volume then normal. Our servers are trained to be honest with their customers about the wait for food to avoid any issues or inconveniences in your day. Thank you for your time. More

Pretty unique place to eat. Great relaxed setting, outdoors next to Robbie's docks. Right on the water, but close to the highway. Only place I've eaten where I had both a pelican, and an egret fly right up next to my table ! Not for everyone, but I loved it. Enjoyed a Cuban sandwich for lunch which was well done. Service was good, especially considering... More

Had time before my night time party boat trip to get a quick dinner here and knew that it was going to be good before I even ordered since I have several friends who have eaten here every time they visit the Keys. The Spicy Bloody Mary was delicious especially with the salad of add ons they adorn it with.... More

Description
In the Florida Keys you'll find this old Keys-style marina and fish shack "somewhere on A1A." A true conch atmosphere with many tasty delights, here in this Florida Keys restaurant you'll find yourself indulged in the Caribbean-inspired cuisine, the compassionate people and old Keys tranquility that is the Hungry Tarpon restaurant in Islamorada. The building has been standing since 1947 and with a home like Robbie's of Islamorada, plus a fascinating history, it all makes the Hungry Tarpon a part of the tradition since 1976. Enjoy dining on our bayside deck with tiki torches lighting up the night. Relax with friends over our fabulous appetizers and watch the boats come and go. Stroll our open air shops then wander to our sandy beach, melt into one of our bayside lounge chairs and let the sea air wash away the rush of the day.
