It was the first restaurant we tried in little Havana and we never went anywhere else. We just kept going back every time and tried everything. The food is great, big portions and full of flavour. Their passion fruit mojito is a stand out. A...MUST. Every server has been super friendly and nice. The restaurant itself has a great vibe and has live music all the time. We will keep going back until we leave Miami.More

This is the place to eat in Little Havana! A fun atmosphere, great food and drinks ( get the Mojito!). The back patio which is partially covered is gorgeous, and is really nice to enjoy on a nice day. The inside is a little cramped...but screams Cuban diner. The waitress and staff were prompt, and friendly. I had the Cubano sandwich, and my wife had the pork shoulder (big portion!) and we had a tamale for an appetizer. All of it was delicious!More

Best Cuban food I have ever had in Miami! The ambiance was also very cool. Sitting in the restaurant gives you the feeling that you have escaped a big city. Empeñadas were incredible. I had the pan con bistec sandwich and it was equally great....Highly recommend!More

Busy buzzy Cuban vibe and lots of tourists. Live music. Perfect Cuban menu. We had ropa vieja, camarones ajillo and croquetas. Classic mojitos. Excellent service. Well priced. Ask for the back patio. Tips are included in the bill.

This the fist time back in Miami after 20 years ! It was 4 of us we had an ok Cuban meal meal, I asked the waitress why the meal boliche was not on the menu [ she had a strong Cuban accent ] She...asked me what was that ? boliche is one of the main cuban meal ..... when I got the bill I asked her if the Service charge was the tip? She replayed NO THAT'S WHAT THE RESTAURANT CHARGE FOR BEEN THERE !!! the bill has a TIP space to add the tip so I tip her again... Tipping is optional they say the since it's tourist area there are a lot CHEAP TOURST that don't tip I will do my homework for a better restaurant in Calle 8More

The restaurant has indoor seating but the gem is the back patio which feels very tropical. Sitting out there transports you into the vacation mindset. The service was quick and friendly. The food was flavorful and delicious. The portion sizes were quite large. I had...the bistec empanizado de res with moros and a salad. It was enormous and delicious. Surprisingly, the mojito wasn’t great. I mostly tasted fizzy water. However, the caipariña was spot on!More

This place offers a real and well seasoned menu you could easily get in Cuba (years ago). We tried some pulled pork along with some papitas and mango mojitos. We loved despite prices are a little too overcharged to our taste.

As others have written here, they add on all sorts of extras. Food was okay and atmosphere was good, $48 (not including 18% service charge) for two mojitos that weren't that great is a complete ripoff. Definitely will not be back

This restaurant looks tiny and packed from the street but has a huge patio area out the back door. If rain is eminent, make sure you get a covered table. Servers are friendly and very helpful if you are first timers eating Cuban food like...we were. I got the beef with sautéed onions and my husband got the fried flank steak, both were delicious. I loved the sweet fried plantain, which was like a fried chunk of sweet potato. The fries are crisp and come in a little wire basket and is a good portion. The black beans are good. We did not try the cocktails, but I had a Coke which they bring in a glass bottle and pour into a glass of ice. There is an 18% service charge, which is split among all the servers, but if you tip on top of that, your server gets to keep all of it (we tipped $10 because she was terrific). Spent about $60 before the tip. Overall, great value and delicious!More

The atmosphere was great as was the service! Maybe we just didn’t know what to order?? We had heard great things about this place but the food wasn’t the greatest in my opinion. The sandwich I had was like shoe leather- extremely hard to bite...through and chew up. My husband said the Cuban was just “okay” there.More

We had such a fun and delicious meal, chicken fricassé and vieja ropa. Yummy sides, including yucca and plantains . The mojitos are tasty (and weak) so you can easily drink a few. And wonderful trio of keyboard, percussion , three part harmony. So glad...we went, in the heart of Little Havanah.More

We stopped here as a part of a food tour. The place is small inside but has a surprisingly large outdoor seating area. We had a Cubano and a mojito, both were very good. Not the best I have ever had but combined with the...really nice seating area, definitely worth the stopMore

The food was good. 4 to 5 stars. The atmosphere was excellent. 5 stars. Live music. Patio and inside seating. The staff was friendly and accurate, but lacked polosh in their service. The pricing is questionable. Hidden fees and very high prices for add-ons give...the false appearance of moderate prices until the final bill arrives. Experienced it, checked the box, won't return.More

Which airport? Miami International is about 20 minutes away. It would be an easy Lift drive.

Calle Ocho is in a nice, busy neighborhood; I felt very safe as a single female walking around. I'd check the website to see if reservations are accepted.
