Went for a family breakfast here and was really happy with everything. The place looks very plain but the service is good, the food is excellent and plentiful and the value is amazing especially when you compare what the hotels in Miami Beach are charging for much less. The food is definitely Cuban flair and you will enjoy it. Walking... More

We had breakfast here while staying at the HIlton Garden Inn right down the street. It was a nice breakfast, a little bit of a Cuban influence which was nice. The restaurant is small and was quite crowded. There is an outside area to dine but it was a little chilly the morning we were there. I would recommend this... More

This place is not fancy, but they have the best breaded shrimp I've ever had. Looks like a local favorite place to eat.

This was our second time heading to this busy cafe for an authentic Cuban sandwich and coffee. By virtue of the fact that this place is always busy with locals and visitors tells you they're doing something right!

The Cuban sandwiches were average but the empanadas were excellent. I would just go back and order a bunch of them. Not sure if I would order the sandwiches again.

Nice variety, reasonable prices, will go back. Pork chunks, congri, sweet plantains. You will not be disappointed.

Wandered over here from my nearby hotel for lunch. It was late, so not too busy. I had the Cuban sandwich with fries. I enjoyed the sandwich (and associated price of it), I wouldn't call it the most authentic. Staff was friendly. As mentioned, the cafe isn't huge, so during busy times, I imagine you're waiting quite a bit. Would... More

We visit Miami Beach almost every year for a few days and the Tropical Beach has always been our favorite, hands down, for many years. The food is always delicious, service great and prices very reasonable for the locality. The fact that it is such a local favorite diner can sometimes mean waiting a while for a table. However, it's... More

Was recommended to eat there by the hotel staff. Just round the corner from AC Hotel. Ordered the cheese burger - the portion is huge.
