A waitress at our hotel suggested bolivar for great South American food, well she was right! It was the absolute best meal we had all week! Very welcoming, hip and comfortable for even us Middle Agers.
Great South American food located a block east of Collins Ave, cool looking decor. Service staff pleasant and charming. A must have is the Daisy Empanadas which contains tasty ground beef with gravy, delicious.
Not being familiar with this cuisine, the waiter was very helpful explaining the dishes. I found the Bandeja Paia (grilled platter of steak, pork belly, caramelised plantains, red beans, rice, fried egg and corn cake) very interesting although had trouble with the pork and steak...More
