If you are looking for super fresh seafood, especially the fried type, this is the place! Come in your swimsuit and flip flops and you will be dressed appropriately. The fried shrimp were perfectly prepared. The hush puppies are some of the best I have ever had, you won't be disappointed. Great service, fun atmosphere and a terrific setting!

We loved our lunch there! The very nice server helped us understand their specials and some unusual offerings such as "Rock Cake" (delicious if you like shrimp). Huge hush puppies! The décor is unusual and very entertaining, too. We ate inside, but you could also dine outside on a deck by the water. Great place!

My first time visit, I purchased plenty of food to go and the wait was reasonable. The atmosphere was friendly and pleasant. The restaurant has a bar so a great place to visit while the food is being prepared. The place was clean and neat. This restaurant does many activities on the ground which is exciting. The crab balls, butterfly... More

We stopped into J.B.s for lunch based on reviews. We really were disappointed. I ordered the tossed salad with crab and my husband got the steamed bay scallops with a side of Cole slaw. The salad was ho hum with a scoop of crab meat. I had to pick thru the lettuce and discard the pieces that had gone bad.... More

Nice atmosphere had a single guitar singer for entertainment. So we thought we would have a little something to eat. We ordered oysters on the half she'll and fries along with too beers. They were the smallest oyster I have ever seen in my life, fries were ok, the beer was good and cold. So my suggestion get a drink... More

I've eaten at J.B.'s before, so I was expecting your basic fish camp. But there have been some nice upgrades recently. Some colorful awnings provide needed shade and add a party atmosphere outside. I also like the tackle boxes they are using for condiments. My fried scallop basket was your standard seafood restaurant fare. But the view is great.

Everything was OK. Nothing to complain about, nothing to rave about. Pricey for just OK. Beer was cold.

What a treat! Rent kayaks by the hour or day, and explore the Indian River to find Dolphins , manatees, and an abundance of waterfowl. Then, seat yourself on a table with a view of the water and beautiful sunset while feasting on fresh fish, shrimp, crab, and bay scallops. The service is friendly, the beer cold, and the food... There are fancier places to go for seafood, and if you are expecting oysters Rockefeller or fillet of sole Carmen, well, you will be disappointed. But we go for the shrimp. Pounds of boiled shrimp in a lightly spicy boil. With butter or additional spicy dip. That and cold beer (Stella Artois--take my advice and do NOT get the wine)... More

The service is horrible, we waited 15 minute's before someone acknowledged us. I asked the waitress how many fillets I get with the fish dinner, she said 1. I said that's it ???, she said it a very large fillet. When I got it, the fillet was not large, just average and was almost $21.00 for one fillet and some... More
