We ate lunch at Whiteys for the first time in about 25 years and were pleased with the service and the food. If you're going, plan to eat early - it filled up quickly after noon.

What a great place. Service is excellent and the food is amazing. Fried shrimp is the best. Not sure but the batter is better than any where we have had fried shrimp

This is my second review of Whitey's. Went for dinner this evening and was disappointed. Ordered grilled mahi and scallops. It came broiled. Decided to eat it anyway. Scallops had no taste but were done correctly. The mahi wasn't done, still pink in middle. I showed waitress who said she showed it to the manager who supposedly showed the cook.... More

Whiteys is a familiar establishment in this community. Located on the St. Johns River, it's popular among boaters , and locals alike. Many weekends find music playing outside, plus an active bar life most evenings. Options for seating include water front, covered porch, bar, or inside booth and tables. I joined friends to celebrate a birthday for lunch here this... More

Always great food. Wide variety of seafood and local catches. Usually a local band on weekends. Located on the river with boats tie ups. Highly recommend

I really didn't know what to expect when I pulled up to Whitey's. I will tell you this....it's AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! My aunt had the tuna tacos and I had the shrimp tacos. We both got two and traded so we could experience both. They both were so good. The tuna tacos came with a wasabi sauce that was so flavorful. The... More

Had a large group of people and decided to try this place. Very cool interior and friendly people. Our waitress wasn't on her game. Took way too long to get our food ordered and then delivered. The kids were bouncing off the walls by the time the food came. The dishes were very good, service though needed improving. The tip... More

Great food and great prices (we went during happy hour)! Atmosphere is pretty cool and the service is quick when crowds are thin. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the experience!

So decided to grab a late lunch. Wedge salad and fresh shrimp was amazing. However when I walked it and stood at the hostess station it was as if no one saw me. I tried to get a waitress' attention. Without a word she motion to a sign that said please be seated with a look of annoyance. Now my... More
