Food was excellent both surf and turf. Con was that I made reservations and had to wait about an hour. They need a better process to calculate how many reservations they can take at a time.

First off, our waiter Cesar was excellent. Our seafood was perfectly cooked and the portions were large. The side dishes were huge--enough to share. The dessert cart looked wonderful, but we were too full to try any. Cesar gave us two small brownies to take with us. We ate them later and they were very tasty. Warning: Give yourself a... More

For my husband's birthday, I took a chance and made a reservation at an unfamiliar restaurant. Johnnie's Hideaway was the perfect choice. We both had filet mignon, that came with our choice of salad, mashed red skin, garlic potatoes and fresh cheesy bread. I ordered my steak medium-well. Our server told us they have "medium +" and it was perfect.... More

We come to this restaurant once a year (January or February) while I'm traveling on business and have never had a bad meal (in over 5 years!). The stone crab claws are amazing -- a little expensive but worth it for a special treat. If you go on a Monday while they're in season, there's an all-you-can-eat special. The house... More

Having been to this restaurant before, and therefore knowing how good the food is, my wife and I decided to celebrate Valentines Day with a special meal. Well, it was extremely busy, surprise surprise! Fortunately we had booked a table in advance, but when we arrived we were led to a table in a very dark area (We could not... More

We chose this restaurant by chance and it was fabulous. The house salad was plentiful and fresh and the homemade cheesy bread was delicious. I had the salmon and my partner had the pork chops. He asked for the two portion as chops are not usually that big, however his were ginormous! We couldn't eat everything and for the first... More

There were three of us for dinner. I had the Mahi, which was excellent. The other two guests had fillet, which they said was excellent. One fillet dinner was actually a Surf n Turf, accompanied by a rock lobster tail, which he said was over-cooked, but with good flavor. We shared a chocolate cake slice which was immense and plenty... Disappointing dining experience. Service was pushing all the top dollar items and drinks, food was poor to average. Mahi mahi was dry and overcooked. For the price and reviews here on TA I was expecting more.
