Of all the great food at Disney World, Sassagoula stood out for variety of offerings, size of portions (often huge), food quality and taste, and helpfulness of the staff. They often went out of their way to see we got just what we wanted. Very impressive -- we ate just about all our breakfasts and dinners there (of course, it... More

There are many menu choices and food is good. Prices are high as they are anywhere t Disney. Pizza was very good and we took it to our room. We also liked the fried chicken dinners. Pop machine has a nice selections of choices and flavor infusions. Restaurant is short walk from hotel rooms. Staff was helpful. Restaurant was clean.

Newly renovated. I hate that the special touches that bring alive the back story for this resort are slowly disappearing, but I can see how some of the old float decorations could have been creepy to the younger set, so I won't gripe about that. Anyway, the revamped food court is quite nice. Loved the gumbo! We had that with... More

Wonderful French Quarter, Mardi Gras atmosphere. Was disappointed that Tiana wasn't walking around. I had egg sandwich, wife had cooked to order shrimp and grits. Both menu items were excellent.

This is a food court with a good variety of food. They have upgraded somewhat from a year ago and have included more New Orleans style dishes. (Jambalaya,po boys, gumbo, beignets) Just had the individual pizzas and they were rather bland. Also tried a fresh pecan praline that was very good. Prices are high, but they are high everywhere in... More

It's nothing special - basically a food court with Mardi Gras décor. I wouldn't make a special trip to eat here, but it's okay if you're staying at the resort.

With having the Quick Service Plan in our holiday package we ate here every day for breakfast and had one lunch time meal and one evening meal here. Every meal we had was lovely.....there were so many choices for all occasions and every meal we had was of good quality and quantity.

Disney did a fabulous job on the refurbishment of this foodcourt at Port Orleans French Quarter. The Mardi Gras float pieces have been removed from the ceiling and now there are New Orleans decorations in several areas high on the walls. When you enter the area you see a glass dusplay of beautiful masks. Food is good, with cajun flare.... More

I only had breakfast here, but I enjoyed it. I had an omelet with vegetables and it was very good, although I think they could have used a bit less oil. Potato casserole was delicious. I could have skipped my lunch reservation because I was still full from breakfast! I hear the shrimp and grits bowl is very good. I... More
