On the second level of Walt Disney World's Polynessian Resort, the Kona Cafe offers coffe shop type meals with a "polynessian" flavor - pineapples, fruit-flavors, exotic spices - but when all is said and done, it's just an over-priced coffee shop. Service can be good...More

We recently visited Kona Cafe for breakfast during our stay at the Polynesian. We were seated a little before our reservation time. I got the Tonga Toast, my husband got their cinnamon-rolled French Toast, and we shared the French press coffee. The Tonga Toast was...More

Very disappointed. First time we witnessed this at Disney world. I could see the table that we would eventually sit at the whole time

Went there for lunch recently. Food presentation is quite lovely but not up to par with taste. Sushi was fresh but nothing special. Portion size is big. Size of table should be bigger to accommodate parties.

Friendly service, good food. Nice selection of options. I think we ate here 2 breakfasts in a week, They remembered we had been there earlier in the week. Relaxing, No rush

This was one of my favorites! However recent menu changes left us scrambling to decide what to eat. I was craving Tonga Toast and was very disappointed. Should have left it as a memory. Service was slow and waitress was unfriendly.

The Kona Cafe infuses a bit of Asian zest into traditional American breakfast, lunch and dinner fare in Disney's Polynesian Resort. Indulge in the scrumptious cinnamon and banana-stuffed Tonga Toast or choose from a variety of more savory breakfast options like a variety of egg dishes and pineapple macadamia nut pancakes. At midday, satisfy your hunger with an Island chicken sandwich and housemade sweet potato chips, shrimp and scallops, or other tasty entrees. Dine in the evening on delicacies such as a selection of fresh fish, grilled ginger-crusted ribeye steak or coconut almond chicken. As you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this Polynesian restaurant, feast your eyes across the onstage open pastry kitchen that prepares divine desserts. Kona Cafe offers authentic Kona coffee as a perfect pairing to these pastries, or as a rich addition to any meal.
