Go Hyang Jip has closed. A new Korean restaurant - Star BBQ - has opened in the same location with a new menu. I had the dol sot bi-bim-bap. The dish was very tasty but the 'hot pot' wasn't as hot as it should be - the rice at the bottom wasn't sizzling. My wife had the mackerel. It was... More

BBQ short ribs was what my 90 year old father wanted for his birthday dinner. We were a party of 7 and after we got seated the place got packed. Only 1 server for entire restaurant. Another server/food runner came to help. Server was getting confused with so many guests coming in that our party was ignored. After our appetizers... More

The server looked like she did not want to be there. The other server looked like he was a cook and was pulling double duty... He was watching a movie on his phone. The place had only a few customers yet we waited a long time to be seated. Once we were given a table they ignored us. I walked... More

I really enjoyed this place. The food came out quick and was very delicious. Not as big of portions as they have at some other Korean restaurants I've been to. They did accommodate and got me the additional sauces and lettuce that I really enjoy. Overall I give this a five on flavor of five on service before on overall... More

I met up with my Korean friend here for dinner because I was craving some bibimbap. There were 6 of us in the group, and we were all served very quickly. We ordered quite a bit of food, and all of it was delicious! I would probably come back here again if I'm craving for Korean food in Orlando. My... More

I actually like this korean restaurant. The food here is the best for me. I've tried the one in colonial and dr. Philips too. We always get the squid bokeum (I think) and japchae. Try this place. You won't regret it.

We settled on 3 dishes. They were Bogogi, Chap Chae, and Bibimbop. Spelling is probably not right. All were very good and large portions. We washed it all down with the Korean beer Hite. It came with small dishes of Kimchai and other sides. All the customers in the restaurant were Korean with the exception of us. This would indicate... More

David, our waiter greeted our first steps into this modern Korean decor like a Michelin chef proud of his heritage and food pairings. He was gracious, polite, welcoming and totally attentive. The complimentary cold starters are refreshing to the palate served in spotless dishes, the the spicy kimchi tofu soup was so good my Asian partner raved about it and... More

Great food! I'll be back. Pancakes are meh, but soups are delicious! I loved their cab soup and their side dishes were tasty :)
