This place never disappoints. We always go every trip to Disney. The service is great. Bill was awesome! The food is good. I always get the fried chicken. Must do when going to Hollywood.

I wanted to try this one despite the mixed reviews it gets, but it really did end up being one of our favourite meals. First of all, the theming in this place is really, really awesome - tons of detail for the retro vibe. Our...More

This is one of the few Disney restaurants that we consider a 'must do' on each trip.....you don't go so much for the food (it is pretty good), it's really all about the experience. A great server that gets your family and sense of humour...More

Our favorite restaurant at Disney. Great theme as it looks like Grandma's kitchen. Make sure you do your homework and eat your vegetables or you will end up in corner. Its Disney food but the fried chicken is actually pretty decent.

Very cool theme, the staff will interact with you and your going to have to play along with the shenanigans. So if your someone thats cranky or doesn't want to be bothered, choose somewhere else. The foods great, the server will probably recommend the sampler,...More

Went for lunch and could not stop laughing. Cousin Tom (the waiter) was excellent. He made us feel right at home. The food was beyond expectations. The amount of food was huge. If you leave hungry, there is a problem. Not sure how I even...More

Had to knock off 1 point because our particular waiter (Ryan) didn’t live up to the hype; didn’t give us the “rules” or “mess” with us. And he slightly messed up one of the orders. However, after the staff started to sit us at a...More

We visited Prime Time because it was recommended as a family experience and we were not disappointed. We managed to get a TV table and our “cousin” kept asking us questions and letting us know his mom was in the kitchen cookinh for us. It...More

Not a quick service but on the dining plan as a table service. I would say one of the better table service options in the parks.

50's Prime Time Café serves classic American comfort food in a TV-themed setting. The restaurant sits across from Echo Lake in Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. The 50's Prime Time Café menu includes family favorites like golden fried chicken, traditional meatloaf and pot roast, cooked the way Mom used to make it—that is, if Mom were a 1950s sitcom star.Be welcomed into Mom's family and feel at home in her kitchenette. But Mom expects you to mind your manners, so don't be surprised if she tells you to keep your elbows off the table. It's all part of the old-fashioned fun and gentle ribbing that's served up along with the food.TV Tables and Tune-In LoungeFor a special treat at 50's Prime Time Café, grab a "TV Table" that seats up to 4 diners and has a television next to the table that broadcasts clips from popular prime time sitcoms circa 1955 including "Father Knows Best" and the original "Mickey Mouse Club."Bop into 50's Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. Cocktails, wines by the glass and frosty beers are available from Mom for Guests 21 years of age and older, or relax in the Tune-In Lounge full-service bar and sip Dad's Electric Lemonade or Grandma's Picnic Punch. From the mid-50s knick-knacks and memorabilia that decorate this restaurant to the dessert menu displayed through viewfinder toys, nostalgia is the main ingredient at 50's Prime Time Café.
