Burgers were small, bacon was cold, onion rings were greasy, and fries tasted like they were fried in old oil. To say the kitchen was slow would be a tremendous understatement. The wait staff were friendly, and drinks arrived promptly, but they were kept busy covering up for the kitchen. Don't waste your time, it was really awful!

I stopped by for a quick lunch at 2:00 today. I didn't leave until 3:30 , because the food was so slow in being ready. The Patty Melt I had ordered was very good, but I don't normally have that much time to spare for lunch.

My grandfather started this diner in 1932. I visited and fell in love. What a super place. The manager was so warm and sweet. The other staff couldn't have been nicer. I will visit many more times. The great food is just one piece of the puzzle.

We'd been here once many years ago and once again more recently. In my head I remembered not wanting to go again but my wife remembered differently. Not os any more. I thought it odd they had pages of positive reviews hung on clips at each table and I can't imagine who wrote them. The food was awful, The servers... More

This place claims to be the oldest diner in Florida. I have no reason to doubt it. It is actually an old diner rail car with the kitchen added on. There are small tables and a counter. There is outside seating too. The claim to fame is wonderful burgers and shakes. For those watching the waste line, they have good... More

We have been by this cute Diner at least a hundred times - and - never stopped. THIS WAS BAD JUDGEMENT ON OUR PART..... These folks had a hamburger that was the best ever - lots of stuff on it (be sure and get the "special" sauce on the burger). The onion rings are some of the best, too. And,... More

We stopped for lunch and we enjoyed the character of the old diner. My husband had a burger and I had chilli and deep fried mushrooms. Everything was great. We would definitely go again.

We stopped here while traveling thru town. Place was clean. Service was pleasant and attentive. Food was typical diner food. We had burgers and fries, and it was good. We would stop here again.

Would recommend simply for the ambiance and the history. The burgers were good, but otherwise we were a little a little underwhelmed. Waitress service was average, order was slow coming out when it wasn't very busy, and fries and onion rings were cold.

I went to this diner 10 years ago not much has changed. However it maybe a little cleaner. They have plaques on the wall Voted best burger in Palatka 2014, 2015, and 2016. Unfortunately I want very hungry so I didn't order a burger. If there busy be ready to wait. I ordered hand dipped onion rings and a vanilla... More
