We've been regulars to Sonnys all over the area for decades. As someone on a low carb diet, Ivealways ordered sliced pork, as the Sonnys sauces are all full of sugar and the best low carb option for me is the sliced pork. Traditionally, the sliced pork from Sonnys is pork collar, which has an excellent ratio of fat to lean, making the sliced pork juicy and tender. This is even featured on their website, as pork collars are a premium cut. However, whatever sliced pork I've gotten recently is anything but juicy. It's dry and tough, and doesnt have the distinct pattern of pork collar. If this is just a fluke, I'll accept this and change my review next time i visit. If this is a chainwide change, revamp the website and Ill find somewhere else to eat.

Went through the drive thru and was pleasantly surprised.
I had the prom 3 ways to try a variety.
The ribs were not over cooked and had good flavor. The sliced pork was a little fatty but had good flavor.
The pulled pork was a little on the mushy side indicating either over cooked or had been setting a long time.
Mac and cheese was ok.
Overall decent food for prices.

One evening we decided to order Sonny's BBQ to go. My husband ordered our dinners online, and when he picked it up, a staff member took it to the car within minutes. We each got 2 meats, fries, bread, and a side. There was plenty of meat for two meals. It was flavorful without the extra barbecue sauce, but the sauce did have good flavor also. Very good food for the price.

If you like their style of barbecue and I do, this Sonny's location has always delivered excellent food. The dry rubbed St Louis ribs are my favorite but to balance out the red meat I often get the grilled chicken sandwich which is excellent. Their barbecue is consistently good and they have a sauce to appeal to all tastes. A variety of tasty sides complete the meal. Very good value for the money.

Superb meal tge BBQ brisket was by far tge best that I have had since arriving in the USA in 2019.
Cooked to perfection just melted in your mouth.
Superb staff very attentive polite and happy faces.
Very cheap as well.
First visit certainly will not be my last.

Food was great. Each dish ordered tasty. From baby back ribs to the sandwich. Staff was great and would not hesitate to eat hear again. Ate at other BBQ places and Sonny's was the winner

We’ve eaten at this Sonny’s before, and it has always been good. Our most recent visit was extraordinarily good. Our table service was friendly, prompt and helpful. The food was cooked to perfection and was delicious.

Went to the Sonny’s BBQ on Chellie Rd in Pensacola. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Makayla was a really nice and helpful waitress. Would recommend.

On vacation -this place use to be decent for a chain BBQ -ordered a pulled pork sandwich with slaw on it --waitress looked like I had grown three eyes - then asked if I wanted it on a bun --apparently they make a pulled pork sammich on garlic bread also -it arrived and she again asked if that was what I meant , the meat was ok -a little tough - not a lot of smoke and whoever pulled it was not very motivated -large pieces -wife got the half chicken -- decent , but not a lot of smoke -- should have driven to the Hot Spot instead

Our server was bad
We waited awhile before our server came
She took our drinks order and then by the time it took her to bring our drinks
We placed our order but she never asked if we needed a refill or anything else
Others server had taken other people order before our server took ours

We had the Pork 3 Ways & it was average. The porkin beans were I believe out of a can & the cole slaw had a little to much mayo for my taste buds. I don't think we'll be back.
