Our waitress Emily made up for the long wait

Our waitress Emily definitely made up for our long wait. She was a bright, cheery smile and took excellent care of us. So many wait staff these days get overwhelmed and stressed during the busy times of day and demonstrate that and reflect that back to their customers. Not Emily, they were extremely busy and behind and she never showed anything but a smile and pleasant attitude to everyone at our table. There were four of us adults and two toddlers. She was unphased and served us with a joyful attitude as quickly as possible. The food was actually very enjoyable. she helped make our visit with our son and daughter-in-law and grandchildren very pleasant. Thank you so much Emily

Really Good

Not living in the US we don’t have much opportunity to eat at a Cracker Barrel but tonight it was right next door to where we are staying. I was very surprised, their Roast Beef was excellent, good pinto beans, turnip greens. The only complaint was my wife preferred my homemade chicken and dumplings over the barrel. I make a mean dumpling!! Our server was really pleasant and efficient, I would definitely go back again.

Best Cracker Barrel

We have been in Pensacola for the month of May and eaten here on 2 occasions and both times were excellent. Our server both times was Kaitlyn and she is the best. Very pleasant and personable person with the best skills of any server anywhere. The food is always Cracker Barrel but is hot, plentiful and delicious. We recommend dining here before 6PM as the line gets very long and the traffic on Wilde Lake Blvd. gets heavy.

Child size "adult " meals.

Order ham and get 2"-2" piece of ham. Order Roast beef meal and get a 2 cm thick (like sandwich meat size) piece of roast beef. Anything with meat that you order, count on the size being fit for a child. Cracker barrel is skimping YOU and still raising $$$ prices. You are better off going to a buffet like Golden Coral. All you can eat steaks and roasts and ribs and every kind of meat and sea food . go to pensacola Golden Coral. Your bill will be the same but not the quantity and size. Cracker barrel is cheap with their portions today. Go waste your money if you like that. Leave still hungry . take a picture of the portions... You won't believe the child size meals...

We placed our order..waited 40 minutes to be told the chicken and dumplings was not available. This was 1:50 in the afternoon. Not understanding why they would be out that early. The crackers with the salad was stale. Cracker Barrel has gone downhill..

Very Poor Service and Lots of Mistakes.

I am very disappointed with my experience at Pensacola Cracker Barrel tonight. I have had several incidents recently where I ordered food on line but when I went to pick it up it was either not ready or they said the order had not gone through. Most of the time the order had not gone through is what they would say. Tonight we took our son and his girl friend to eat before leaving on a trip. The server came and took our order and we never saw her again. A young lady brought my soup and it was already too cool to eat so I sent it back to reheat. They said our order was just coming out. We waited and waited forever so finaly we ask what had happened to our order again, since the couple who came in 15 to 20 minutes after we arrived had already received their meal. Then another couple got their meal. No food for us. The lady ordered the same pancakes my son ordered and hers had the cheesecake topping. We asked again why we had not gotten our order since people who came after us had received their orders and they said again it is coming out. This time there was a problem. Then another lady brought our order and when she was putting the pancakes down she said what took so long was they could not find any cream cheesecake topping so they could double the strawberry topping on them but the friend ordered these pancakes because of the cheesecake topping. She did not take the pancakes so neither of them ate before their trip. I do not know what has happened to this Cracker Barrel but it has been having problems for a long time and someting needs to be doen. We had been visiting Pensacola for several years and would always eat at this Cracker Barrel. It has great service, was fast on the meals and it was great tasting.

We left a meeting and was looking for a place to eat and decided to go here. The food was good. Our waitress was great! We ended up having a conversation with a gentleman at the table behind us and she took great care of us at both tables.

Sooooo good!!

After traveling all day we checked in at the Hampton Inn on Pine forest rd. We saw the Cracker Barrel just across the street. We decided to stretch our legs and walk over and have dinner there. We were not disappointed at all. The staff was nice and friendly. We had our service dog with us and they didn’t mind at all and if you didn’t see us come in or out you wouldn’t have known he was there. We had burgers, Mac and cheese, veggies, turkey and dressing. Everything was hot and delicious. We went to bed with happy tummies!!

Average food but outstanding service

This restaurant is just off the highway - easy to miss. I was seated quickly but the food was slow on coming - I was told they had to reheat my entree. The waitress (apparently new) was outstanding & very friendly - she made the meal enjoyable. The food was typical for the chain.

I had the trout and wife had the meatloaf. My corn was tasteless and overcooked and her carrots were horribly over boiled making each piece inedible from the lack of taste and texture. My corn was close but not as awful. Basically, Cracker has gone downhill. And it was a fairly quiet weekday so not busy at all.

Truly disappointing

Was not very busy, but totally unorganized. Took 20+ minutes to place an order to go. Order was actually ready in another 15 minutes, but it was incomplete so I had to come back. “coranne” (spelling?) was very helpful and friendly, but she was not getting any help from coworkers and no support from management. (Per my observation) I had the roasted turkey and my husband had the meatloaf. Both meals were incredibly mediocre

disappointing, poor management and policies

I strongly don't suggest ordering online for delivery from this store. After an hour of waiting (and the dasher there) I started calling. Called multiple times and couldn't get a person. Called doordash who said they couldnt help and keep trying the store. Finally got a person, asked for a manager. About being recycled back to the front person twice she told me the general manager, Robb, wasn't answering his calls. Waited again... Then an Amanda picked up who couldn't help me. Transferred me to David. I explained the situation and he said they don't deal with issues and to contact Doordash. I explained I already had but because the store confirmed the order they couldn't alter or refund. He said fine, asked for my phone number and said he'd handle. You'd expect hot fresh food after an hour wouldn't you? I would too. I was wrong... Doordash of course has no record of the store requesting a refund... So I guess I am out that money. So disappointed in this leadership team.

Ordered the Fried Chicken 4 piece, it was very good. The place was practicing the safe setting. Had to wait 25 min. for our table. That was ok because we had stopped for the night. Would rather be safe than sorry. Good Job.

Good meal, even Sunday when it's packed

Very good meal, even tho it was pretty crowded. Our group of 7 was seated pretty quickly, in just enough time to shop at their store...hmmm. I got the hash brown casserole. Pretty decent, except sirloin tips were well done. Otherwise, great choice. Some of our pancakes were just a tad too dark. Our server worked hard so she received a generous tip. We'll be back, for sure.

Pretty typical Cracker Barrel, rarely have any surprises. Good food, attentive staff, prices not too bad. Conveniently located to our hotel and the intestate.
