My husband loves their Soft Shell Crab Sandwich and so did another person in our party. Another had the burritos which were huge and tasty. I had the crab cakes which were quite spicy. Two out of 6 of us left with some mosquito bites. The beer was cold and the service was very good. I would have loved to... More

Authentic Cajun food done right. Craft beer. Nice outside patio by a river. This place could be so much more. They only a third of their property and they don't do a Crawfish boil?! I've been coming here for years and always leave happy.

My son couldn't wait to take us here for lunch, as it has become one of his favorite local places to eat. He and my husband loaded up on cajun food and loved it all. Me, not being nearly as adventurous when it comes to spicy food, stuck to a good ol' hamburger and fries. We sat outside on the... More

Passed by many times & finally got to go. Tried Mon nite, but they're closed Mon & Tues. Had quick & friendly service soon as I walked in. Nice casual look, several rooms, some inside, some overlooking bayou. Had tasty creole roasted pulled pork w/red beans & rice, watch out for the spicy sauce on the side, lol. Then had... More

My wife is gluten free and the only selections here, outside of salads, were all extremely hot and poorly prepared. I could not believe they did not know how to make creole---yuk!!!

We have been here many times, the food is always good and real Cajun, but the service seems to have disappeared. This is the third time since our May 2016 review (Rated it 5 then) that we have been here. The first two times it took a long time to get served and the waiter on both occasions would leave... More

I'm not sure what other reviewers were complaining about, but it's a bar so the food is gonna be greasy, common sense🙄 No it's not Louisiana but it's darn close. The spice? Great! I had alligator tails and dirty rice and it was delish! Beer selection? Vast! Had a waitress who let us sample beers. 🍻

... If you've been to NOLA this is a place that might even disappoint. Cajun Cafe was a bit of a let down in the food, atmosphere and service. There were 2 large parties taking place and the outside areas were closed and it seemed there wasn't enough staff; being that our server had not only our section but was... More
