After visiting the TECO Manatee viewing area 5 miles north, we stopped at the Fish House to give our North Carolina relatives a taste of Florida cooking. We each tried different menu items from Grouper to shrimp, to scallops to fish. Everyone gave a "thumbs up" because one should talk with a mouth full of good food. The only disappointing... More

if you like a rustic environment and really good food, this place fits the bill! The combo meals are varied and plentiful. I had the grouper plate with cheese grits and coleslaw. The grouper was very lightly breaded and fried to perfection! Coleslaw was good but next time I will skip the cheese grits and have fries instead. Eat outdoors... More

This is a beach front eatery without the beach. I love this place. Other than the fact that everything here is fried, this is a fabulous place to eat. It has picnic tables to eat on and plastic drop sides for when the weather is bad. The food is always great and a large meal feeds both my husband &... More

Great food and you get more than enough to eat. The coleslaw is good as are the fries. My favorite is the grouper dinner. Eat in or call ahead and take out. We always choose to take out and it is always ready when we arrive.

Found this place accidently while staying at The Inn at Little Harbor. When we passed by and saw the lines of people waiting at this little food trailer we knew something was up. We've only had the fried shrimp and the fried scallops so far but boy they were good. Melt in your mouth scallops. Great, light breading on the... More

It was a big surprise to find this cute fish place. The fish was excellent, the seafood soup was so delicious, In general food and service was great. I wish they had some grilled or barbecue dishes. Everything is fried but not greasy. I highly recommend this place.

Seriously unassuming shack sitting in front of a trailer park on the side of the road. I'll admit I was nervous. Our meals came quickly even though there were quite a few customers. Fresh tasting, perfectly seasoned captains dinner. Fried to crisp golden perfection. Sigh. I wish I didn't live so far. The absolute only drawback is the mosquitoes that... More
