This was categorized under cheap eats so i went with my 7 year old for a quick bite. The staff was amazingly friendly, the atmosphere very inviting and the food far exceeded expectaions however I would have saved the trip more for an adult outing...More

Great ambiance, and stylish food! We had a breakfast sandwich, and breakfast wrap. The breakfast sandwich had quite too much mayo to my liking, but I am not a great fan of it! Pleasant place! 23$ for 2 breakfast sandwich and 2 cafe latté.

My wife and I visit St Augustine often, and we always like to try local restaurants. This trip we decided to give City Bistro a try and I am glad we did. The menu is not extensive, but even so there is something for everyone....More

To be fair, this review reflects only one visit, but we were not inspired to give it another chance if we are back in St. Augustine. The prices were okay, but the food was simply ordinary.

Wonderful little café with amazing coffee selections and breakfast choices. I tried the Cubano City espresso which was perfectly made and one of the best Iced Caramel Lattes I have ever had. Also the breakfast biscuits are huge and full of amazing flavors. It had...More

Hubby & I went in today early afternoon & had a great experience! Sunday afternoon music by guitarist Pat Murphy sounded great in the clean cozy space. Loved the dim lights, made me feel cooler as it was sweltering outside. My smoked salmon platter was...More

Good morning all! I'm sitting here at City Bistro. Staff has outright refused to accommodate my request to exclude the oil* that their few vegan offerings are prepared with. So here I sit with growling stomach watching handsome husband eat. Yay for unplanned intermittent fasting!!...More

Hi Lori, This is your second review on another site of your same experience - so I cannot help but state much of the same: "We're sorry to hear that you had such a negative experience today. As mentioned, the Tofu Bowl that you chose...More

It's nice to get away from the cookie-cutter chain restaurants on a long trip and City Bistro is an eclectic island in a sea of averageness. Healthy wraps, good tea and a guitar-playing singer just sort of showed up to perform on a late Sunday...More

After my hubby and I relocated throughout this aesthetically pleasing, adeptly decorated establishment twice to avert a faint but noticeable fishy smell, I obtained the results of City Bistro’s most recent food inspection (published online). According to the results of a food inspection report conducted...More

We walked here from our hotel and completely underestimated it, thinking it was probably a pseudo-Starbucks (good coffee, terrible food). We were so wrong! The food and pastries here are amazing, and plated gorgeously. My husband had a cheese Danish that I wanted to rub...More

Partners Robyn & Ted Mooney & Natasha Olivera, along with an outstanding crew, strive to provide a warm genuine dining experience focused on fresh ingredients, local produce & a sense of community. An experience rather than just a meal, an occasion for some food for thought & being more than just a flash in the pan is what we strive toward every day. What has followed since our beginning has been an exciting and joyful exploration of who we are, what we love and what we envision sharing with the world. Our search for the sincerely exceptional has led us to create a restaurant that embodies a home away from home, a place to run into friends, or make new ones. The Bistro is centered around celebrating community culture, local art & music. The heart of our menu is about good clean culinary techniques, respect for ingredients and their origin and our environment. More than just concept, this is a tangible & heartfelt component of who we are & what we are creating. Special attention is given to vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and healthy options because we believe in encouraging diversity at the table & carefully curating a menu that satisfies every individual. Our Chefs & Baristas are well-informed & knowledgeable about the origins of every product & it would be our pleasure to custom-make any item to suit your preferences and requirements. Please join us soon, make yourself at home & become a part of our growing family.
