As you walk in, you get the feel that this is a beach diner from the exterior and decor. We were pleasantly surprised to find this adorably charming Italian restaurant. We were greeted by the owners at the front door, a really sweet couple. The tables were draped in real linens. Soft music played in the backgound. Bob, our waiter,... More

A large group of us made reservations for dinner and had a great time here. For a large group our server Carrie did an outstanding job. We had a lot of requests and she worked hard to accommodate. The food was wonderful and on point. Well worth the drive!

Great good, kitschy atmosphere, great friendly service from Carrie. Will definitely go again. We're from NJ, and haven't found much good Italian food down here. This was the real deal!

Authentic Italian cuisine with homemade pastas and hand crafted entrees with incredible flavor. Went with my darling wife for the 1st time on Valentines day, luckily made a reservation. Excellent Proseco sparkling wine and Italian beers. Great pasta fagioli, and specialty rice ball app. Authentic Sicilian food. The owners, sweet couple, there every night I believe. Ambience is kitchy but... More

My name is Sabatino and I am from the Bronx, NY. This place is amazing! I have been looking all over the South for Shrimp Parmesan with horrible results, but they had it here and it was great! If you are in the are you have to come to this place! The owners are also very nice.

We ate at Casa Benedetto's for the second time last night, and it was even better than the first time. The Italian food is the best we have found in Northeast Florida. The bread alone that is delivered to the table when you first arrive is warm and delicious, and then it gets better from there. The reason it was... More

Given all the positive reviews on TripAdvisor we went here for a hopefully good Italian meal. It is a quaint place both inside and out with sort of a retro look. We were met at the door by our waiter and the place was not busy in the late afternoon. Our waiter was either inept or very new to the... More

Delightedly surprised to find it on the menu, haven't seen it for years, hesitated, fearful of a disappointment, memories of Mulberry Street and Luna's in the 1970's. Awesome. My BW had an off-menu veal francese , we went back 4 nights later and both re-ordered the same dishes. In a city full of excellent restaurants, we opted to visit this... More

Every tine I write reviews like this, I wish TA gave partial stars. Especially for places off the beaten path like this. First, the good news. The food is superb. In particular, the baked clams appetizer, and the chicken scarpiello entree. The dishes are well-prepared, and generous without being over the top. The bread is also excellent. Lastly, if they... Re-visited Casa Benedetto's on a return to St. Augustine. Once again, it was great! The staff was welcoming, the food great! We had the eggplant parm and pasta with sausage. We also had the calamari for an appetizer - it was huge!- but lightly fried so it was tender.

We come from a long line of talented cooks who believe that the best food comes from using the freshest best ingredients available prepared with love and attention to detail. We pride ourselves in keeping alive the traditional "holiday foods" we grew up with that not many care to take the time & trouble to prepare from scratch in our busy modern world. Our staff is trained to make your visit a pleasant one and we strive to meet all special dietary needs or favorite dishes that may be missing from our menu that you desire Gluten free meals are always available. We are accepting cash or debit for payment in an effort to keep our prices competitive. We are closed on Sundays but do open for Mother's Day Sunday.
