This spot doesn't take reservations. We waited for water side seating. OMG was it so worth it. Out table right next to the water was amazing. The Sunset was so beautiful! Once the sun went down the lights in the trees were so pretty. Now to the wonderful food! We started with a Appetizer of Gator tail. Yummy! My Sweetie... More
Was in St Augustine and went to this restaurant. So glad I did. The view was outstanding, we were able to sit under the overhang, but it did not obscure the sunset. Our server was Patricio, and he was great. Didn't rush us but we felt he wad available when we wanted to order anything. We shared the hanger steak... More
We've been a few times. The food is good but we feel that it is declining some from when we've come before. I tried the stuffed grouper and the fish was dry. My mom got my favorite meal which is the Vanilla Grouper. Drinks were very tasty. Again, the location is amazing.
Great view of sunset on the Intercoastal Waterway.Ambiance was off the chain. The food from appetizer to dessert was some of the best I have ever tasted. Our server Karen was friendly, efficient and knew all the dishes on menu, she made some great recommendations. Will definitely return on next trip to St. Augustine.
Drove over for lunch on a truly spectacular March day. The air was cool and dry; the sunshine brilliant. Caps overlooks the intracoastal and from what we could see, is mostly open-air. Tables are arranged along a sort of boardwalk with oak trees overhanging some of the tables. Whimsically ornate white chandeliers are hung here and there in the tree... More
This place was recommend to us by locals in the area and did not disappoint. We were lucky enough to arrive just before sunset and enjoyed a spectacular view, would definitely recommend checking the times and booking around sunset - though the view is great anytime of day. At night they have cool lights and chandeliers which provide excellent ambiance.... More
Excellent view on the water. Grouper was delish! Fresh fish...Ambiance was comparable to an island fishery restaurant. Service was Great. Good recommendation from hotel.
We have been there last year. We were told that they had a lot of hurricane damage but they were up and running. The seafood was great and the atmosphere cozy. It was rainy so me were unable to sit outside and enjoy the water.
Caps is known for its sunsets and views over the intracoastal! Great food fresh catch every day offered in several styles, blacked, breaded, grilled, fried. Delicious sides, puréed sweet potatoes, Brussel sprouts, plantains. They have an extensive wine list and a bar and an oyster bar.
