I almost always get the smoked mullet, but the mackerel, salmon and mahi-mahi are equally as good. The German potato salad is very good and served warm as it should be. The cole slaw is good too. They also have really good smoked fish spread. Although I know several people say they have great burgers, I have never had one.... More

We did not have dinner, but stopped at the take out store...for those of us who suspect there is no good smoked fish south of NYC, think again. Smoked salmon that is simply divine...mullet and a host of other fish as well....

This place accepts cash only. Make sure you have enough before you go. Otherwise use ATM at the side if the shack. Delicious smoked mulet. If beautiful weather sitting outside is convenient.

The smoked fish is delicious & Ive had it about every other visit. But the fish spread, saltines, hot sauce & cold beer are my favorites. Everyone loves the German potato salad-except me. I'm not a vinegar fan. Staff is friendly & efficient. But make sure you've got cash-they don't take credit cards.

This is one of few good places to have smoked fish. This restaurant compares well to the Illinois Inn. Smoked mullet is worth the trip.

This was our second visit. If you are anywhere in the Tampa – St. Petersburg area, Ted Peters is worth the drive. Cash only, but there is an ATM on site. The sides are delicious. Regardless, you will never find smoked fish as good as you will find here. The red oak imparts a unique and delightful flavor. There are... More

Came here for supper with my wife we split a smoked mahi mahi with a cup of Manhattan clam showder. The smoked fish was delicious the smokiness with the tangy spicy home made tartar sauce with horseradish. It came with coleslaw & German potato salad the coleslaw was alright but the potato salad was amazing I had to ask how they made it &... More

This is old town Florida for certain. We sat at the picnic tables outside and saw that the menu had smoked salmon, mullet, mahi mahi and mackerel. This is served with German potato salad and crackers. A nice slice of onion, tomato and pickle are also on the plate. The New York clam chowder is reported to be good also.... More
