This was the second time that I have had dinner here. The first time I enjoyed the octopus. It was tender and well seasoned. My sister had the calamari which was heavily breaded and not tender. Tonight. It was a total disaster. From start to finish. We started out with the octopus which was not tender and had hard grizzly... More

Were were encouraged to try this restaurant for great Greek food and found it average, at best. The appetizers were delicious.

Because of the abundant sea life in St. Petersburg Fl Bay area, a meal here will rival many seaside tavernas in Greece. Our waitress this time told us one of her customers who sometimes stops by before work for his "Greek penicillin", also known as agavelemou soup. Dine like a god or goddess!

Great food, friendly, competent service and moderate prices. Over the past 3 years we've stopped by several times during our month long stay for a lunch of a few appetizers to full dinners and nothing has ever been a disappointment. Iff you think Greek food is a choice between souvlaki and chee-burger Acropolis will change your thinking fast.

My husband and I thouroghly enjoyed dinner at the acropolis. Very authentic Greek food. Casual and low key. We did sit outside because he weather was good, some good people watching. Our server Sabrina was great, she made nice recommendations.

Took awhile to get my lunch. Very good worth the wait. Great atmosphere. Nice washrooms I had the chicken kabobs and Greek potatoes. Not crazy about the Mediterranean rice. Sorta bland

Quaint restaurant in the heart of St. Pete. Very large menu with Greek and American dishes. Eat outside if you can...great seats to people watch!

Visited with a large group fro a recent birthday celebration. We were looking for a fun and engaging dinner experience. I had high expectations based on the video presented on the Acropolis website. The atmosphere was dull. The food was average, nothing truly special. The belly dancer (just one) was beautiful, but did little more than stare at our party... More

I had Karpathos chicken salad. It had the best dolmates! My husband had the Greek salad. Their Greek dressing was the best we've ever had. We also had baklava cheescake. It was very good.

Ordered the four plate appetizer featuring hummus, eggplant spread, tadziki and a lovely dip with feta cheese, followed by egg lemon soup that was thick, tasty and not over salted. Shared the gyro plate that featured tasty gyro meat that tasted fresh and not out of the box so to speak. Service was fast, courteous, and the people watching was... More
